I think $55 is a decent price for a detailed doll this size. I thinks it’s a good likeness of RuPaul Too! I do I wish they had done her fashion in a color other than black, as I don’t think of Ru wearing all black. I have three of the collector dolls that Integrity Toys did. The earlier face molds REALLY look like her from her “ Mac” cosmetics adds. I passed on getting this one, but know after seeing your review I kinda wish I had gotten her. Great doll!! She does have a hair net attached. When you take that off, the hair is an EXTRAVAGANZAAAA! It gets so much bigger and it is fabulous! The tabs are near her temples. I had to use tweezers and small scissors (cuticle scissors are best) to cut them off.
My idea the reason Mama Ru is a Black Dragon is in Dungeons and Dragon they breath Acid. She is known for roasting people with scalding retort and comebacks.

Im big on collecting Blonde haired black dolls....& Shes a damn DRAGON! A DRAGON! I LOVE dragon s! Im a black blonde doll myself with a dragon tattoo,so this doll is incredible for my doll collection. I eish i had other RuPaul dolls but they r crazy expensive. This doll is AWESOME! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

I got her for $50 on Amazon and I think that's worth it. It seems Mattel's new favorite price points are $75 and $100 for all dolls, so $50 is closer to correct. Her outfit has velcro on the bra top and underpants and the outfit can be removed completely. You have to take off the boots, then the underwear/pantyhose, then undo the top, pull the arms through then pull down over the hips and legs.

I was also on the fence about this doll, and I share your sentiments about RuPaul. But Mattel ate this doll up. As a Monster High fanboy I couldn't pass her up. I got two of her for $50. It seems like that price was a glitch, but I'm thankful.
If i had this doll i would take the outfit to put on another monster high seriously... dont like the face.. not because its rupaul but i just dont love the face... if the doll had long hair i wouldnt mind and keep her like that.. because the outfit looks really amazing... im a sucker for black outfit and dragon so... its the perfect outfit for me Edit: its not the face i dont like its the open mouthi dont like... i know its the signature of rupaul but i dont like it...i would prefer an another open mouth style but its me...because it is an amazing doll.. but the rest of her face is amazing... but i think i will get her for the outfit and/or customise the doll.. I’m curious about the IT dolls. Just wish they weren’t so expensive.
