You could buy fuel in Bulk from the Service Stations which was stored at home in the first Farmers Dynasty. At first look at this Demo it certainly doesn't Inspire me to try it out, The biggest problem I had with the first was not enough of a Story line, which was the same in Lumberjacks Dynasty.

The main issue that I had with FD 1, was that if your hard drive it was on went bad or wouldn't work - the gameplay wasn't saved on Steam for you - so you had to restart the game from the very beginning again. After that happened twice with me, and I was on to years 3 and 4 in those games and had modenised all my vehicles, etc, I just stopped playing it due to that problem - really not wanting to start it all over again. So I hope they'll attend, or have attended to that issue on any further other games they may make . . .

Devs can't fix your bad hardrive for you. The only thing they can add is Steam Cloud which the first game didn't have but they need to pay to use it. The first game had many other more important problems like issues with AI drivers going in circles or low variation of dialogues.

I can't see any real difference from FD1, is this new map sequel only (so far it seems like it with just minor changes).

The addition of logging is pretty big, and having winter with more survival aspects also sounds like a new challenge. In the first game, you simply skipped winter.

@@JimmiG84 They already had logging in Lumberjack Dynasty, they just merged it toghether. Winter is nice to have but I would expect some new mechanic during the year at least. Some old factory renovation leading into manufacturing business for example.

Hello went back and checked out the first video and I really hope that in the full game that we can spend more time in the past. When you get to the cut seen and go 50 years into the future I kind of lost interest. I like to play just using the old equipment.

- Same for me, that time jump kind of initiated a loss of interest. I was really looking forward to all the building repairs and stuff, not time warping to where everything was basically fixed and all the equipment was new and such.
Although I will say that Molly is looking pretty fine for a woman of 70+ years ;) I'd think I would have to marry a woman who looks like that after all those years.

@@Arthaius lol yes. I know it’s only a demo version and a lot of things will probably change but based on what I have seen I think that I will actually wait until after release to make my decision whether to buy or not.

I'm guessing it's just in the demo version to let you see more of the game. Don't see why they'd skip time like that in the full game.

@@JimmiG84 - I think you may be mistaken; My opinion is that the old farmer from long time ago I.E. the Grandfather is most likely just a sort of Prologue - and the main part of the game is the younger guy with the "Current Day" which is where you will actually get to play the main part of the game, which would be unfortunate, as the early part with old run down farm looked good, the part after where you play as the Grandson didn't hold any appeal for me really.
I could be wrong but that's the read I take from it.

@@Arthaius Well on the Steam page it says this, so even if time progresses it looks like you can stick with the old machinery:
