    When I was doing a lot of istighfar I used to sleep for only two or three hours and wake up full of energy. Allah says in the Quran that istighfar gives you strength and it's true. Try it but you have to hit a large number like 5000 istighfar, you can do that in 2 to three hours just repeat AstaghfiruAllah, get an electronic tasbeeh to help you count. Now I sleep longer hours because I do very little istighfar

    let me tell you something Sir Naik, you are a miracle of Allah in todays world. Thats why I am not surprised you sleep 3-3.5h and still function normally. What you have done for muslim world will stay here for long long time. May Allah grand you the highest level of Jannah and you could be a worthy friend of Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) in Paradise.

    One thing to watch out is sleep debt.
    You owe your brain sleep, one day after many years your brain will take control and shutdown whenever it wants to to reclaim the sleep. Then you will spend old age sleeping for hours till no end.
    Some people get it earlier in life. Anyone who works long hours in creative industry can even shutdown while driving and end up dead in car crash. So don't overdo it.

    Some people can perform to their fullest capability with only 4 hours of sleep, some can not with even a minute less of 8 hours. You cant just follow someones sleep routine. You have to know your body. Personally I don't feel good without a minute less of 8 hours of sleep

    Something to mention is that people at his side of the country sleep twice. They usually also nap during the day. So the 3 h is not entirely a correct estimate. And at the time of the Prophet SAW they most definitely slept during the hot part of the day after doing their morning labour. Research shows double-sleeping may actually be a more natural sleep cycle, whereas our current sleep cycle comes from the demands of capitalist economies. Sleeping less doesn't mean you are working harder, nor is it a truthful representation of reality. I know many people that brag about sleeping for 3-4 hours but then if you really pester them, they'll tell you they take 2 h naps during the day.

    I used to sleep normally 4-4.5 hrs for last 1.5-2 yrs and suddenly I am undergoing symptoms of depression and now I am going under treatment so my dear brothers and sisters don't try anything you watch on any channel.
    Sleep as much body requires minimum 7-8 hrs otherwise it will be fetal.
    May ALLAH guide us all and May He make our every action solely for the sake of him.

    I have the same issue. I sleep only 3-4 hours. Honestly, I’ve been doing this ever since I was a kid. But I do try to get 7-8 at least once a week, even if it means I have to force myself to get few more hours

      Hy don't sleep during the day. Don't sleep after 6:00 am. Then u ll be able to sleep at night. Try to sleep before 10:00 pm.

      You shouldn’t, sleeping 7 hours is better than less

      Akhi enjoy what you have, say alhamdulillah. Don't go circles trying to reduce your sleep, it has it's side effects.
      : coming from a student whose getting a sleep of 3-4 hrs ( at a time ) and I've college, I come and sleep and baam I have no time to study

    7-8 hours sleep is essential , otherwise it leads to decreasing memory power, cardiac problem , inactiveness through out the day may cause in longrun
