My first sheep included an anal prolapsed pedigree Suffolk ewe lamb, she prolapsed her rectum, followed by her uterus and delivered by caesarian a lamb with an imperforate anus. The vet said it was a problem of pedigree breeding. Thought I was finished with sheep, but discovered Lleyns. So much easier to handle as well as looking pretty.If you don’t have rat proof storage for your cake, time to get a Tipsy Bin from Ireland, a really well designed product.

Put on a prolaps harness.. its very good to keep in..always works for us..
You have had a rough go with this lambing. Hope the prolapse does not give the ewe more trouble. Those are big lambs.

It's always the start and end the trouble is
You must not beat yourself up about lambs that don’t ’make it’ for whatever reason
I know as sheep farmers you put your ❤ and soul and Money and time into breeding

Great set of videos, not caught up on them all yet but will do definitely. I’ve seen you put your lambs out after 24hrs? It’s my first season and I’m not sure when to let mine out due to shocking weather forecast up here.. what would you do if lambs seemed strong, at least 3 days old but the weather was very wet and windy? Cheers
Did the mother accept the adoption at the end?
The clips look painful compared to the rings, the rings the sheep don’t seem to notice I think I’ll stay with them
I’d disagree a bit as the clips cut off the nerve so after 3 seconds there should be no feeling. But currently I’d use rings on price. I think I’m not too long the rings may be a thing of the past
How do u take to the clips the lambs looked painful the rings they never seam to bother about
Why arent the borders out yet sorry if you said already. Do the clips cause more pain than the rings.
