For the Polaroids I think it’s better to let them develop fully before putting them in your pocket, at least that has worked out well for me the last few times. Keeping them in the dark is mostly important before taking the picture. Once the film is exposed to light it’s ruined and you can’t take good pictures so it’s essential to never open a film camera with undeveloped film in it so it’s only being exposed to light when it’s supposed to be (aka the shutter when taking a picture)

@@edwardcullen3251 when you take a Polaroid picture it’s black when it comes out of the camera and takes maybe a few minutes for the picture to show up in full Color and be done developing
