Got to hand it to their coaching staff because they found the right potion to dismantle the US attack before it could even get to mid-field. The US didn’t seem cocky or complacent - just outmatched. In my opinion the us team was never really good to begin with. It's just that the other teams were so bad and the sport for women never developed in Europe.
