Hang in there Mikey stay positive !with RA you will have bad days and good days take advantage of the good days and rock it ,REST on your bad days … Read Read Read on your RA . Much love and menu prayers 😘😎
I’ve had RA for 25+ years. Tried all the meds for it and did not help any except for prednisone which destroyed my bones even worse. There is NO cure for RA but I changed my diet drastically which helped a lot and I use medical cannabis for the pain which has helped tremendously! Check into holistic doctoring and check out your local dispensary. And change of diet. Good luck Mikey!
Look into working with your food. Avoid chemicals in food., avoid sugars, artificial sweeteners. Avoid package foods. Avoid dairy. USE Fresh food vegetables, fruits, organic when possible. Avoid soda, alcohol, COCONUT WATER IS GREAT. Meds help but changing diet will help you even more. MY BEST TO YOU AND SUPER CORT
Please do the research. I’m a CERTIFIED HERBALIST…you can make changing
thank you so much for sharing❤
What is the diagnosis " rhuematoid arthritis?
Please see a good specialist.
Specialist.
They do help.
Its sad, its bad.
You are strong, you will fight this.
Gods hands and bless the doctors to help you.
Much love to your both, Mel from Oz.❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Tomatoes and egg whites are inflammatory even though I still eat both
Yes I have to take high dose vita D or bones hurt so bad because my D stays depleted
We're going to all watch this together tonight with popcorn like a movie premiere. God, we're SOOOO TIRED from the trip!!
Mikey you always have fun and bring smiles to everyone’s face. I do see a difference on your eye😊💐
Diagnosed 35 years ago. Adapt, adapt, adapt. Welcome to the club. We will get through it !
In da club!! Thank you for watching❤
Check into pain management so you do not need a lot of medication.
Weight management, diet, keep moving. Do not give up.
No one should be perfect. It takes the fun out of life. Sending prayers and healing hugs your way. Blessings to you and your lovely lady💖
Hi Mikey, Just want to say I understand constant pain. Been battling it for over 25 years. One day at a time, friend. Talk about it as much as you need to. It helps for me to talk about it. Managing stress will help. The more stress, the more pain. Please don't let anyone make you feel bad for taking medicine that helps. Those who are not in YOUR shoes do not have a say. Even if someone else has the same diagnosis, their pain levels may not be as bad as yours. Each person has their own levels of pain to deal with and no one can judge another's levels. Also, I found that if I do not move (because it hurts to move) I get to where I CANNOT move. Seriously. Finally, DO NOT be tempted to try every "juice", "supplement", or miracle anything. Save yourself a lot of money, trust me, I tried them all. Just go to the doc, take your meds, move in moderation, research what is best diet-wise, manage stress, and enjoy your life to the best of your ability. My faith is also a big YES in helping me do all I have mentioned. God really does love you Mikey.
Thank you for all the tips. I do not do the latest fads or take much besides the meds they give me and fish oil
Hi Mikey. I was diagnosed with RA when I was 23 years old. I am now 57, and have been able to manage the pain and inflammation with diet and exercise. I have learned over the years that diet is key. I limit (not eliminate)all those inflammation trigger foods. Tomatoes, wheat and gluten, sugar, peanuts, corn (high fructose corn syrup), dairy, soy, etc. Many people don't understand how easily exhausted I can get. Do your research and God bless!🙏🏾
You will figure out a way! It seems like the older that we get the more we have to adjust ( lifestyle, jobs, diet, meds, daily living) but life does still remain wonderful!
OMG!! I can’t believe you let them get ahold of your eye!! 😂😂😂 They come after me every show! Yes, one eye looked really good! You walked a LOT, man! Hope you weren’t hurting too bad after. We can’t WAIT to come see you & Kari again. We had so much fun & laughed so much. We all
Love you! Next time, we want to meet SuperCort, too! ❤
Lol my eye! The consensus is that it looked better but I dont know if it was $200 better. So much fun we all had I could not show it all. See you next time❤ I did overdo and was a zombie the next day but it was well worth it!
Hey Mikey, so sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but I'm glad that, at least, you know what is wrong and there are treatments available. I wish you every success in finding out what can alleviate the symptoms. All my best to Super Cort as well
RA is very treatable. My Mom has psoriatic arthritis and gets methotrexate subcutaneously every week plus a biological. She does great and is 85. I appreciate that you are upset, but don’t dedicate your life to the diagnosis. You have to try to move on and focus on the positive! It may sound harsh, but you cannot give in! You can cope and will get better. I thrift and resell with a disability. Just do manageable inventory, no more dvd players and golf bags. Love ya Mikey! You can do this! 💜💜
thank you so much for sharing💜💜
Sorry Mikey about you diagnoses, your truly a trooper nothing you can't do. Hope your meds help. Good to see you.
I was told in 1993 I had RA . The pills they gave me made me feel worse. My grandmother told me to toss those damn pills away and just work through the pain. She said don't let that mess get ahold of you. If you do your whole body will get stiff. It takes me awhile to get up these days and that's what I've done since then. Somedays are bad some are worse, but there are good days too.
sorry to hear about your med issue. hang in there Mikey we need to continue to watch your videos.
I’m sorry man. I have a condition called Fibromyalgia and it’s a condition they say never travels alone and often leads to RA. My prayers are with you. Hugs.
Was diagnosed 2 years ago when both my knees failed.
Stay positive and keep moving. You can handle this.
Dont give up your job, just adapt your way of doing it. You've got a great personality. Get yourself an electric scooter, take the meds. and listen to your body. It could be a great 'adventure'. I know. Been there, done that, got the T. shirt. You are a great assett with your mindset and personality. It wouldnt be the same without you. I love your videos. Keep smiling.
I got a call from my Doctors and they told ME. They made a referral to see a Rheumatologist .
Mikey, my prayers are coming your way!
My Beautiful daughter and daughter-in-law, both have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I’m sorry you have to go through this terrible disease Mikey. I know it is a shock to find out that you have such a disease but once it all sinks in then you will be able to fight more constructively. So you stay positive sweetie. You have a wonderful wife in Super Court (remember, lucky you.) You will be fine. I send you both love and supportive wishes from Australia.
Nothing wrong with getting a cart to take back and forth to your house and vehicle. Think about your liver on these meds. Lighten the load on your back and knees. Use things to take items from the store to your vehicle. Take it easy on yourself. As a nurse patients think they still have to do it all but they can just by using wheels, carts and helping aids. You are only limited if you think you are it's all attitude! Diet and attitude and your sweet loving wife is everything ❤
ty for the tips❤
Sorry you're not doing well. I think this getting old crap is for the birds. I'm starting to fall apart too. Best wishes. ❤
I am so sorry for your illness. My husband and myself both have chronic pain and it can be hard but I do love your attitude. I know my husband and I just always say we will take one day at a time and just do our best. Take care and if someone offers to help you please accept. It is hard for others to know what to do or say but if they offer let them help you.
thank you for sharing❤
I'm so sorry Mikey , I have RA and I'm 42 , I know what your going through ..take care of you , especially your mental health because it takes a toll ...big time ! So make sure YOUR OK! If you need to slow down we will support you ANY way we can ! :)
thank you so much❤
My thoughts and prayers are with you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Mikey, you are so loved! You are also stronger than you think. Keep on keeping on.! Thanks for sharing your medical problems, I see you helping others as you bring us along. I thoroughly enjoyed you walking around the convention center as your magnetic personality pulled us in once again! God bless you friend!
Mikey and Super Cort, keeping you both in our thoughts and prayers. Take the time you need to adjust to the diagnosis and gather as much information as you can. You can do this - stay positive and take things one step at a a time. Thank you for sharing your journey with us all. Take care!
thank you so much❤❤
Mikey, you are incredibly positive despite your hardships. Many people take traditional medications for RA. A good friend of mine has been on Methotrexate for 20 years. She has had great relief with that. Changing your diet to remove inflammatory triggers is another great way to reduce your pain and progression of disease. My prayers are with you and super Cort. Your videos are so refreshing and entertaining. I hope you will be able to continue. Stay strong.
I have had RA for years and lower back pain from degenerative disease and left shoulder and neck pain from a broken shoulder five years ago from a fall. And a bad right knee that is gone. Been on oxycodone for years. It brings the pain down to a dull roar. I have heart condition and diabetes also. Good luck and hope u don’t have or get anything else. If all u have is RA more power to you.will pray for you. Been praying for myself for years. Lol. You will learn to live with it and adapt.please stay positive and watch what h eat!
thank you take care❤
Social security disability is given for RA . I would like to see you and Danni make up. I don't care what happened but you were good friends I watch old videos. Go for it.😊
Right Eye is definitely less wrinkly!
Laughter is the best medicine and you are my pharmacy! ❤️
❤
Glad now, in April 2024, you are feeling better 😊
Praying for you . I was diagnosed in 2001. Methotrexate , shots , infusions 4x year. I’m 68 and no more meds or symptoms after two knee replacements. Your blessed with a loving wife who will help you through. From Ct. long time subscriber.❤️🙏
thank you for sharing and some hope❤
Sending Lots Of Love & Healing Energy Mikey & Court 🙏🏼🙏🏼💙💙💚💚🙌🏽🙌🏽
Thank you❤❤❤
Great video. You will overcome the RA and be good to go never give up! Thanks for the walk along thru ASD it was fun. Take care talk later!!
Mikey. I am so sorry for your diagnosis. Your positivity goes a long way. Laughter is the best medicine! So glad you have Super Cort. Keeping you in my prayers 🙏
As like so many on here… I too have RA with fibromyalgia. The first years are the worst just trying to understand your limitations. I highly recommend the book The Fungus Link … after 20+ years I read the book and started the diet. It has really eliminated 75% of my pain. It is worth the read and it sounds like you are eating some of the food they recommend anyway. Good luck
Thank you for sharing. Take care❤
Sometimes attitude is everything. Don't give up. Keep a positive attitude, listen to the doctor, and look into holistic therapies. I know you can not take those steroids long-term. So, look for alternative treatments, including yoga. You have your supportive, lovely wife by your side. I'm praying for you and wish you the best.
Mikey, your positive attitude will help a great deal. Keep being positive, follow the docs recommendations, try anything that might help, or seems to help. There is new research every day, so a cure may come along. Glad to accompany you on this journey, if it helps, vent, share, do what you need to for you!! We all love you and are rooting for you.
Thank you❤️
Awww Mikey so sorry to hear your RA diagnosis! I’m so glad you have SuperCort to help you thru this, she’s the best! Thanks for putting out the videos, you’re doing a great job!🥰👊
Not sure if this will help. I was a server for 20 years. I wore & still wear a wrist brace when I work. Helps A LOT. Walmart, Target. A decent one that covers your wrist up to your arm. They feel good. I think you might like them-? 😢😢
So sorry to hear about your diagnosis but so glad to hear you've got the right mindset. Keep pushing through, Mikey! We need you out there pushing the positivity!
Thank you so much I really appreciate your support❤
First do not think of your body deteriorating!!! You are under medical care with a treatment plan from your doctor. It may take a while to see what works best for you. Don't worry and think too far ahead about your job.Take care of now and if necessary later then make the little changes. Right now this is very overwhelming for you but down the road you will adapt and be happy 😊Go on some mini vacations to do some swimming and relaxing with Super Cort. I will keep you both in my prayers 🙏 Have a relaxing weekend 😊😊😊
Sorry to hear about your diagnoses-- stay strong! Love the hat!
Sorry I have ra , lupus and celiac. I am struggling in my reselling right now. It's hard to have a mind that wants to do so much and a body that can't. Don't except that you have to be on chemo your whole life. I took it one year and was able to get off it. Watch your sun exposure just in case you also develop lupus. The biggest advice I can give you is rest rest rest. Your body needs it. If you find that perfect job let me know. I don't think I can keep up reselling.
Be an Amazon influencer! You would be fantastic
Sending you prayers and positive thoughts for a speedy path to feeling better real soon. I hope the medicine helps 💐🙏
Thank you so much❤❤

❤❤❤
I have been on quiet a few RA meds. The first one I was allergic to. I have been on the injections and the pens. I prefer the methotrexate tabs. Works best for me. I occasionally have break through pain and when that happens I take prednisone doses for a few days. Yes it is not curable. As long as I take meds I can do the same things I have always done. Relax a little bit. Stress and tension does not help, it can make it worse.
I’ve been going to ASD since like 2005!!
In March bring Super Cort on Sunday to cash and Carry section. Then come back on Monday to explore the rest. Lol I’ll give you my shopping list. Lol I’ll be happy to share my experiences.
Buying a booth is a whole lot of work did that twice I don’t recommend it.
Sorry to hear about the bad health but it could have been worse. So get on that health plan with the docs. Then figure out the what to do in my life plan. You got this! And Super Cort is there for you! So together you’ll make it all work.
Whewww that was sensory overload with all them booths 🤪 and u did great with ALL that walking !!
Remember..to be 'strong as a Ox ' against RA...u run ur life...not it 😊 stay focused..not the end of of diagnosis...Start with only one new regiment otherwise u start too many u don't know which one is actually working . Continued prayers and healing light❤
thank you for sharing. This Ox will remain strong❤
Thanks for sharing your news and the ASD Convention! That hat was a hit!
You’re Eye 👁️ Is looking so Much Younger ! 😮. I’m so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, Mikey !😢. I have arthritis, spondylosis, and many more ailments. I’m here if you ever need a listening & understanding Ear 👂. I’ll be Praying 🙏 for you & Courtney !!!
thank you. I need some cream!
I have been seeing a rheumatologist for 40 yrs. Numerous issues, now multiple myeloma so I relate to pain. Hang in there, just push on and continue forward ! People look at you and say you look fine they cant see your pain
Yes it hurts so bad but nobody can tell by looking
The most agrivating statement since I was 24 is "But you look fine!" I'm now 48 and I still look fine! Hahaha people 🫠🫠🫠
I do have Arthritis but not R A . I am almost 72 been dealing with herniated disc’s in my back since 92 due to a work injury. I take so much meds and if I don’t I can barely move! I get so tired of people forming opinions that I am a drug abuser when I see another Dr. You hang in there Mikey and don’t let this get you or keep you down! We love you and I am adding you to my prayer list now! I will be praying for you and your sweet wife!
I haven't seen Karri for a long time. Nice to see her.
I understand how u hurt, I have psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. It is ruff most days. But God's good! I keep going. Good luck keep the faith!!
Love your positive attitude as always. Hugs to you and Super Cort❤ the resin pieces would be fantastic for Halloween 🕷🪳🕸🦂🦟🦇
Stay positive. Super Cort is amazing. Prayers for both of you
Your right eye does show to have a more smoother look. Mike sorry to hear about your medical condition. Take care of your self. Your in good hands with super Cort . It broke my heart when she got emotional at the Dr office. Sending love and prayers to both of you.
❤
Movement is important keep moving despite the pain. At some point the pain level is expected by the brain and mostly become the new normal. Prayers coming your way my friend
My mom had to change her nutritional intake. You have to avoid certain types of food and it helped her a lot.
Prayers to you Mikey!
So sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Slowing down is hard when you’ve been used to being so active. It’s an emotional stuggleas much as it is a physical one. My mind still thinks I can do things my body is no longer able to do. Good luck in your future endeavors, whatever they will be.
ty❤
AH! Just go to the pink hat erectile dysfunction bit! Too funny
😂😂 I would have a pretty good uncensored video from all the fun
I’m so happy that you are able to have a great positive attitude about what you are having to deal with, laughter is the best medicine. I will keep you in my prayers ❤❤

Mikey, I appreciate your positivity and honesty. I really enjoy watching the channel.
Wishing you all the best as you embark on your journey through RA. (And your right eye was less wrinkled!!)
Thank you for letting me know you enjoy the channel. Looks like I need to invest in some eye cream😂
I am glad you have a diagnosis. Thoughts and prayers to you that the medication gives you some relief soon. My company set up the ASD show (registration, pipe and drape, signs, etc.) There is definitely alot of walking. A scooter would be great for you to help get around to continue your thrifting adventures!!
Thank you❤
Hope these meds help you.. hope you feel better.
Hey Mike! Long time watcher here. I gotta tell you i developed RA near 2 years after I gave birth to my son (nearly 24!). It was excruciating! But as time went on (1-2 years) it died down and then it morphed into fibromyalgia for about 7/8 years and that has mostly died down but I have had 2 hip replacements and other issues due to osteoarthritis. As it is now I’m having a rhyzotomy to burn off some pain nerves where the arthritis is bothering me.
It all sounds very dramatic but you get through it and roll with the punches and get some good pain relief when you need it and plan some nice relaxing holidays. Possibly BD / THC ? It wasn’t around during my ra experience. Good Luck Mikey!
Thank you for sharing❤
Sorry to here about your diagnosis.,You were always so excited about starting your new career in thrifting.I wish you well.
❤️ 😍 H
Sending hugs and prayers Mikey!💕🙏
Kari great looking booth Great to see you as well on Mikey’s video.. love you girl 💕🤗💕

God bless you and your beautiful wife!! Much love my friend!!! That place is great that you went too! Loved seeing Kari!! Love you all!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️💙💙😊😊💜💜💚💚💖💖💙💙💙💙
Hey, Mikey. Glad you have answers. Not great but could absolutely be a lot worse. You will figure out your new normal. Fortunately, as I went through breast cancer twice, the doctor said “it’s sadly too common. BUTthe good news is, as a result…tons of research, new developments and so many more options”. So, having a “popular” disease has it’s benefits. Great to see Kari and totally agree those paperweights were disgusting.
Thank you. I think the same thing. Lots of history and research with this. Thank you for sharing❤
Mikey is such a sweet guy and we are with you throughout your journey!💜💜💜 Your attitude goes a long long way also! Yours is spectacular 💜
thank you💜
Oh Mikey I'm so sorry. It's a harsh Dx for sure. My prayers will continue for you. Please educate yourself about the illness. I believe you will have non flare times again. But there is a certain amount of grieving that goes with a serious Dx. Allow yourself to process it. Know that you are loved and appreciated same with Super Cort. ❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
I'm 62 and was diagnosed with RA at 29. Later added in Osteoarthritis then Osteoporosis 6 years ago.
I was a single Mom with 2 kids, always worked full-time. Flares suck and you may need to add a med to get through it but for everyday life, once you find the right cocktail of meds, you can live pretty normally. I always have 100% perfect blood work, never had any kidney or liver problems.
If what you've been put on quits working, tell your Doctor. RA is smart and will find a way around your current meds. Some meds do work better and longer than other meds.
Most importantly have a good relationship with your Doctor.
It's definitely not fun at times but you don't have to let it totally change your life. You will get to know your body really well and learn what aggravates.
Good luck and remember stress is not good for RA.
thank you for sharing❤
Love you both!!! Sending healing energy and prayers 🙏 ✨️ ❤️
#REPLAY I think I may have seen Poochie in a purple shirt and on a scooter.
Prayers for you! 🙏🏻 your positive attitude is going to get you through your health journey.
Keep moving... use what you need when you need it such as the handicapped sticker, scooter, etc. I use shopping carts for balance because of my post concussion syndrome. You and Supercort are in my prayers
