Do you not realize that this Cars game turns 15 years old this year? It's a pretty good milestone, actually. But still, why do you think that Cars Race-O-Rama is the worst Cars game? I personally like this game! A TH-cam user by the name of minimme thinks that Cars Race-O-Rama might be the best Cars game, and he's right! I only have 3 Cars games; Mater-National Championship (XBOX 360), Race-O-Rama (Wii), and Driven to Win (Cars 3). I also used to have Cars 2: The Video Game (also XBOX 360), but I don't know where it is now. How and why is the dialogue of this game even cursed? We all know Owen Wilson isn't in this game to voice the #95 car himself, but still! Sure, the dialogue may not be perfect, but I don't think it's cursed. The Wii version is the only port of this game that I have. Since you said something about making Lightning McQueen look cursed as possible with the customization, I wonder if you can beat this game as a Ricer? You think these sections in the game are boring? Well, some of them can be hard. We can play as whoever we want in these sections. These sections aren't boring! I think they're just as fun as the main game! How can you even sleep on that? In the Guido races, it is like Mario Kart, but in the Cars world. There are bugs and glitches, but that's just the game being the game itself. I don't care if the character designs are just lazy. Sometimes, the plain white cars are just test cars. I wonder if you might scan them with a barcode? I'm just saying. I don't care if it's boring when I'm racing, and I'm just passing/overtaking the same model of cars over and over again! If the final race isn't that dramatic, maybe I could swap some music like a final boss race to make it action-packed! The Wii version of the game was decent for me. I don't care if it's the worst. I don't care if it's slow, laggy, uncontrollable, rubbish, etc. I don't feel bad for playing this. It's not a game for kids. It's a game for EVERYONE! Kids, teens, and adults who love games can play this at any time! In conclusion, i don't care if Cars Race-O-Rama is the worst Cars game, but hey, it's your opinion! We all have different stories to tell about how good or bad the game looks. I still like this game a lot. In fact, I even beat this game in under 1 hour. How? Well, I won't tell you, but I did get to the final showdown when I started. Yes, I unlocked that instantly using some cheat codes. It wasn't me cheating at this game, I just did this for fun. Maybe I could try playing this game again, but only this time, I could beat it as a Ricer. Don't get me wrong, I still like this game. You have your own opinion. If you like it, you like it. If you don't like it, you don't like it. That's all. We're all good. You might hate me because I yap too much, but hey, i'm just making my own comment. In fact, all I do is yap, yap, yap, no matter what. I got words in my mind. I can never get enough. Anyways, I gotta go. Also, *kachow.* (You better not delete my comment, TH-cam. If you do, you will regret it.)
Thank you for taking the time to write all this, it's genuinely really appreciated and interesting to hear what other people think of this game!! I've seen a bit of minimme's videos but I wasn't aware of his take on this one. I'm going to play Cars 3 soon and I'll probably learn that race-o-rama is in fact not the worst cars game at all! ❤️
@@KLEJGaming ROR ps2 is absolutely horrendous, probs one of the worst PS2 games across the whole library. It lags a lot, it drops to not 25, not 20, but to 15 FPS in many races/areas. It has a lot of graphical glitches like Kabuto's eyes not showing in Tokyo Mater. + one of the biggest stupidity of a decision I was personally first to ever find was the fact that PS2 version does not have a full open world that includes OV, RS and TF (just like in the first cars game), but if u bypass the "entrance trigger" to a new location u will still be able to drive on the unloaded area of f.e. OV and still find that all the races markers and collusion are still there, there's just no textures applied for the area. U can do that from RS to OV and from OV to RS and all the RS/OV races will be there, available for u to select and play. + a lot of cool point-to-point races weren't there in the PS2 version. Like, there's a race which goes from TF to RS without a loading screen on every single console, except PS2, cuz they simply never added it. There're no races in PS2 version that has 2 or more areas to drive through. Which is dumb, cuz even in cars 1 there were 2 races (Sheriff's Chase and OVGP) that went from RS to OV and had no loading screen. Anyways, really looking forward to this review cuz it's my fav game of all time lmao
For a game made in 2009 despite the hiccups it wasn’t that bad. I remember playing this a lot when I was younger and had a blast the customization was a very interesting concept. The music is great the voice acting is very (interesting) but aside from that it’s a very underrated game I mean compared to cars 3 this game beats it under the water. Hot Take: Cars 2 is the best one in the trilogy and the game makes it better. Off topic but you get what I mean.
Cars Race-O-Rama was a game I played on my mama's PS3. And the only knock I had on it is the fact that every time I started the game again I would have to reset the save file before starting the game losing all progress. Other than that, I enjoyed this game and I'm curious to see what he says is wrong with the game.
This game is much better then Mater-National. But it certainly isn't as bad as Cars 3 Driven to Win, Lightning's new voice is way more terrible in that game. But I'll say the Cons of this game to me is by far the Guido Kart racing, you spin out way to easy and is the most frustrating event in all of the game
As someone who had this on ps2, I absolutely fucking loved this game, and I honestly will likely go back to it in the coming years provided I get the chance/remember. I will admit some moments can be bloody bullshit and on occasion the physics are just utter crap but overrall its up there with Cars 2: The Videogame, I just wish the game was on PC so I could purchase it on Steam. Good video btw!
I always had mixed thoughts about this game compared to the first 2 that were released. I still like this game alot, but there were alot of flaws in this one that i would like to write down. (Sorry if this is a long comment.) The characters were pretty unbalanced and undriveable. (Bubba, Monster Mater and Sully, Guido Kart characters except for Luigi and Trophy Girl.) The new cities were nice, but they felt really small and didn't have much detail. I personally liked how on the DS and PSP version of Motoropolis having a nice highway to race on along with a huge lake you can see. Motoropolis on the console versions feel a little plain. One of the areas from the first Cars video game was blocked off. It was an offroad path that leads you to the top of the rocks you can jump on and collect postcards. (I was able to glitch through it with a trick on the PS3 version.) Rustbucket race layouts felt plain in this game. I liked Mater National's alot. Alot of areas in Radiator Springs, Ornament Valley, and Tailfin Pass felt like they weren't used for races much, and there was also some unfinished textures around the Wheel Well area too. Alot of minigames felt like they were forgotten and not much noticed during this game's release. (There was only 1 Luigi's Tire Find, Sheriff's Chase, Tractor "Tipping" which was turned into Stampede instead.) This one could be a huge disagreement to others, but i always wondered if this game had it's own Online mode where people can free roam around with Lightning and race players with their own customized Lightnings. Other then that, this game is still fun. Mater National was my favorite out of the first 3 Cars games because of the International racers, and some additional areas added to Radiator Springs, Ornament Valley, Tailfin Pass, and the Stadium races, and i can understand why some of the detailed areas in that game weren't brought over in this game (Except for the Museum that was built at the end of Mater National brought over to Race-O-Rama.) I always did wish this game had a sequel that took it's time and it probably could've been a perfect Cars game.
I must admit I had bit better time with RoR then Mater-National Champ. probably because of new features and bit better story structure but not any of those two reach the greatness of the original game that game was just phenomenal for what tried to achieve and was far more focused on story and characters then the rest.
the story of this game, even for cars' standars makes absolutely no fucking sense, the game is held together by ducktape, has so many bugs, looks kinda shitty when compared to the 360 version of cars 1, the gameplay becomes very VERY repetitive after a while, the new characters are extremly boring and uninteresting, yet it turns out to be the one with the best controls out of the 3 original thq cars games, as well as being by far the most fun to speedrun DUE to its shitton of bugs, i love this game, it was a huge part of my childhood and ill always hold the memories it gave me dear to my heart, however, yeah, this games' kinda shitty, ngl.
Well I got the PS2 Version so I don't know what's the difference between PS3 from PS2. Maybe I will return to it. Even if it not great controls but it was fun in my opinion.

Also, *kachow.*
(You better not delete my comment, TH-cam.

I'm glad that's settled. 😉

she has not been in pokemon at all. you must've been thinking of veronica taylor
She had a smaller voice role in a few episodes of Pokémon Master Journeys a few years back :)

@@joshball9421 oh damn really? I know a lot of those names didn't seem familiar oops 😭
If only he knew about Cars Race-O-Rama on ps2 he wouldn't have ever said that wii versions sucks.
Btw, waiting for Cars TVG (2006) review :D
Oh god okay is the PS2 one bad? 😂 Don't you worry there's going to be a complete series review in the next few weeks
I actually think this is ready good as when i drift i don't want it to feel like im driving a brick
That's fair enough
@@KLEJGaming thanks :)
See I like be all the cars games they are fun asf and loves the expanded cars universe to still have doc around.
It is cool to have Doc around
This game is much better then Mater-National. But it certainly isn't as bad as Cars 3 Driven to Win, Lightning's new voice is way more terrible in that game. But I'll say the Cons of this game to me is by far the Guido Kart racing, you spin out way to easy and is the most frustrating event in all of the game
I have just started playing Driven To Win and honestly it's one of the worst games I think I've played in recent memory - video next week I think
6:37 That is just cursed💀💀💀
This could be the perfect base for a perfect cars game and now with the power of the modern systems, but they left it to rot, a shame.
Yeah in hindsight it's really not bad hahaha, thank you I appreciate it ❤️
THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD AMD PRIDE AND JOY HOW DARE YOU
I'M SORRY 😭😭 I've changed my mind now I've played some more
Looking at this and some of your other videos, you definitely deserve to be so much bigger! Quality vids and good commentary!
Thank you so much!!! ❤️
I always had mixed thoughts about this game compared to the first 2 that were released. I still like this game alot, but there were alot of flaws in this one that i would like to write down. (Sorry if this is a long comment.)
The characters were pretty unbalanced and undriveable. (Bubba, Monster Mater and Sully, Guido Kart characters except for Luigi and Trophy Girl.)
The new cities were nice, but they felt really small and didn't have much detail.
(I was able to glitch through it with a trick on the PS3 version.)
Rustbucket race layouts felt plain in this game.
(There was only 1 Luigi's Tire Find, Sheriff's Chase, Tractor "Tipping" which was turned into Stampede instead.)
This one could be a huge disagreement to others, but i always wondered if this game had it's own Online mode where people can free roam around with Lightning and race players with their own customized Lightnings.
You should try Cars 2 if you haven’t before and then decide which one is truly the worst 😭
I'm on a mission to play them all now to truly reach this conclusion
I must admit I had bit better time with RoR then Mater-National Champ. probably because of new features and bit better story structure but not any of those two reach the greatness of the original game that game was just phenomenal for what tried to achieve and was far more focused on story and characters then the rest.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO WRONG
I'm about to play Cars 3 next week so yeah I'm probably wrong
Dont know who you are but great video
Thank you!!! ❤️
the story of this game, even for cars' standars makes absolutely no fucking sense, the game is held together by ducktape, has so many bugs, looks kinda shitty when compared to the 360 version of cars 1, the gameplay becomes very VERY repetitive after a while, the new characters are extremly boring and uninteresting, yet it turns out to be the one with the best controls out of the 3 original thq cars games, as well as being by far the most fun to speedrun DUE to its shitton of bugs, i love this game, it was a huge part of my childhood and ill always hold the memories it gave me dear to my heart, however, yeah, this games' kinda shitty, ngl.
That's actually a really perfect description ❤️
Well I got the PS2 Version so I don't know what's the difference between PS3 from PS2. Maybe I will return to it. Even if it not great controls but it was fun in my opinion.
Yeah my opinion of this game has got better overtime!
I like all the cars games, my least favorite has to be the cars3 one, but I still consider this one being pretty solid 👍
I've changed my opinion on Race-O-Rama in the couple months since I made this video, it's actually pretty solid compared to other games I've now played
0:38 That’s what she said
Dude! Cars Race-O-Rama is awesome!
I still had a lot of fun with it but I just wish I'd played it when I was younger too lol
not the worst game, and it is a good game in its own right
Yeah my opinion of Race-O-Rama has become a lot more positive in the couple of months since posting this
The controls on the Xbox 360 version of Cars 1 are ass
nah, the worst Cars game is: Cars Toon Maters Tall Tales, the minigames suck, the game is just a mess and it has hardly no effort in at all (at least that's what I think)
Yeah I've heard that's awful
@@KLEJGaming It really is i don't even recommend playing it, that's how bad it is

Why this game is so hated?
Main problem is how short and unexciting can be but other than that...
