Integrating Principles of DEI into Environmental Public Health Practice

In this seminar, Chief Health Equity Officer for the Division of Environmental Health Science and Practice at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Dr. Ayana Perkins, provided a detailed presentation on the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and frameworks for integrating these principles into environmental public health practice. Following the presentation, a panel of Environmental Public Health Professionals discussed their experiences, best practices, challenges, and shared outcomes they have achieved through incorporating the principles of DEI in their work.
