Yes, Band-Maid is more technical and progressive, which they can do as a 5-piece. The Warning are more than capable but their sound is more of a modern take on traditional rock by choice, and more appropriate for a 3-piece.

29:04 this is not uncommon at The Warning shows. The first time I know of it happening was when the sisters opened for Def Leppard. The drum tech for Leppard went back stage and grabbed the band, telling them 'this is something you need to see'. Last year Muse was hanging out in the wings watching The Warning play.
I appreciate your comments about The Warning. I do think that their primary strengths are their songwriting and passionate performances. And as someone who’s mostly been immersed in genres like punk, post-punk and indie (as opposed to hard rock or metal), their stripped-down approach appeals to me.

And with TW Keep Me Fed tour coming up, there will be SO much more mainstream exposure, esp in the US. So exciting, so many more fans coming! Also keep in mind, how much younger, esp Pau and Ale are compared to Miku etc. There's a lot of development still in DPA's future!
I love both of these bands, and I think your descriptions are spot-on. Band-Maid is the more musically exceptional group, but there's a certain artistry to keeping things simple and yet powerful and interesting. To me, it's like Tool and AC/DC: they're both awesome, but for totally different reasons.
Seeing these two bands loving each other warms my heart. And my ecstatic-ness seeing the Warning came up on Band-Maid stage and doing Omajinai time and then playing together with Band-Maid ... exactly what I felt when I watch Avengers 1. I've been watching the Warning on TH-cam since 2020 and Band-Maid since 2023. And then I saw them in person for the first time and then playing together ... it was like multiverses are converging. I've never been so happy watching a show in my entire life. God bless the Warning and Band-Maid ❤
I woke up this morning and before I was even out of bed I saw the clip of the collab. Excited and depressed at the same time. I will forever look at this ticket I have and probably regret my decision to cancel my trip. But I just wasn't physically able to go 😢

So what I know about The Warning, Peter : They have been playing together for 10 years. Dani is just turned 24, Pau is 22, and Ale is 19.
