I also saw them live. They're one of the best live performers I've ever had the pleasure to see. I saw them in Toronto recently - he introduced as "We're from. Here"- I love Intervals.
Saw him (Intervals) open for BTBAM / Chon a few days ago in Asheville, NC. He seemed so personable / talking to the crowd. I immediately liked him. He / They, set the bar for the show, and then BTBAM did "their thing", which was great, but then CHON....omg, these kids, yes, seemingly kids, stole the friggin' show. Undeniable talent. We were all blown away. Ultimately, a spectacular show with the heavy BTBAM set inbetween.
It's a fusion band. Great musicians. But the music seems too thought out. And not angry enough. There's a lot of fake anger out there. Rick Beato loves it but I don't like the Amp Sim guitars either. It's just too perfect to be angry.
Went right to name calling. Always the most intelligent response. Anger as an emotion expressed in music is worth discussing. To be dismissed as " idiocy" because of a perceived slight to a band that you like is silly.
Yes if they were only angrier. Just not enough angry music like back 10 15 years ago when every song would start quiet talking about feelings and then yell at you on chorus. It’s a damn shame when musicians are cursed with a healthy relationship with their dad.

Your idiocy isn't fake though, is it?
