Spec:-
-C20XE with steel bottom end and solid lifters.
-SBD camshafts
-Jenvey Throttle Bodies
-Z20LET injectors
-F28 6 speed gearbox with gripper diff
-Mapped by Chris at EFi parts
Currently running north of 225bhp at 8500rpm, but the owner has plans of 400 shot of NOS! Twin bottles and standoff injection. The car is fully stripped and poly carb windows all round exc windscreen.
Absolutely glorious noise.

Had a jenvey throttle bods on my car everybody said it sounds like vtec when i went by. How was yours in first gear? mine was shit for some reason it was like trying to catch a boost lol
Not my car bud! As you we went through the gears it got better and better, presumably as the airflow got better!

Sorry for late reply. It was basically a drag spec purple LS corsa. Something to do with RS tuning I believe? Not 100%, but it's apparently been up and down the santa pod strip a lot of times so the owner told me.

I don't quite get your point? Most engines die from excessive revving yes, but this revs freely to 8500rpm, It can be revved higher since it's built to rev over 9000rpm.
How long is a piece of string is the more appropriate question. Providing the engine is looked after, serviced regularly and oil sent off for analysis to see the mineral/material of content which gives a good indicator of an engines health, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
