Getting pierced with a needle is 1000% better than with a gun. There's a higher risk for shattering your cartilage when getting pierced with a gun. Needles are safer and cleaner. I definitely recommend going to either a tattoo or piercing shop that uses needles to pierce their clients with.
Aw, that piercing placement would've been so cute. Alyssa, I have seven piercings and can confidently say getting them done with a needle is far better. Sorry, that happened to you. Definitely recommend it by needle because it's quicker, and the healing process is way better.

Exactly! A needle is way better. I would never have a gun used. I've had over 40 piercings, and this has happened once before in my nose.

Cartilage piercings should be done with a needle and it hurts far less. I didn't even feel my tragus being pierced. That piercing is so cute 😍

Sand and sage salon in springville is amazing! They use needles, way better accuracy than using a gun.
Do it with a needle! It is safer for your skin as the needle is sharper and creates the hole for the earring to go through rather than forcing a hole through with the earring and gun. Also, I've gotten it done with the needle and can tell you it's way less painful!!

Definitely go to a tattoo shop if you get it done again. Piercing guns are not that great and they do a lot more damage to your skin. A needle is super sharp and it’s way faster. You really cannot mess it up when using a needle because it’s precise whereas a gun is just taking a tiny metal rod and just forcing it through your ear.

needle is better than the gun. the gun is basically blunt force.
I had my ears done with a gun followed instructions perfectly never healed closed kept getting inflamed final took them out after 2 1/2 yrs head closed the next day.
The needle will always be less trauma for the skin & it will never jam 😳😎
