Well you have to clean you face and probably exfoliate if possible and sheet masks keep dripping all over the place and it's quite messy if you don't pro it and then not every one have the luxury of that much time and stuff so it depends

I use a sheet mask every day. After working a 10 or 12 hrs shift, it's relaxing to do a sheet mask at the end of the day. Taking that extra 20 minutes puts me in a better mood. I can read a book or watch a show meanwhile doing the sheet mask. It's something I look forward to every day.

I have anxiety and suffered from depression as well and what I discovered is sometimes the smallest things in life can bring you so much happiness.To most people it's excessive and just a sheet mask but to me it's a way to slow down and enjoy at least 20 minutes of any day...no matter how much that day could have sucked. In addition, find something that makes you feel good. Do you like to dress up? Do you feel better after working out?To get out of depression, you have to challenge yourself to step out of it from time to time and continuously do the things that makes you feel good. this might sound weird, but i'm jealous that they all fit your face!! I always have to fold the edges of my sheet masks to keep them out of my hair! anyway, I love this video idea. I'm lazy, so I usually mask every 6-8 days, but my skin's been super dry lately so I should probably try stepping it up!

Girl don't waste your essence! Squeeze the rest out of your masks before you throw them away! You can use the rest of the essence right then or store it for later to get the full value out of your mask. The reason I don't sheet mask everyday is because I'm lazy and I hate having to wait 20 mins, but I definitely might try doing it.

i think it's safer to squeeze beforehand to prevent contamination, plus a good amount of essence gets left in the packet too, so i squeeze a little from the sheetmask before putting it on my face and store the rest in another jar XD

You should try doing the face mask while watching Netflix/tv, reading a book or something like that cause I always watch Netflix when I use a face mask on and I then I just chill and usually leave it on for a bit longer even
It really baffles me when people just throw their sheet mask away after use, or even start washing their face after a sheet mask. Sheet masks aren't as cheap as people think if you want to use them regularly! After taking the mask off I like to squeeze the rest of the essence into my hand and rub them all over my face, neck, chest, stomach, hips, arms, everywhere. There's a surprising amount of leftover product in those used sheets! I also like to reseal the package with a clip so that the essence that is left on the bottom of the package can be used as a nice serum/booster for another day.

Lily Marlina Yeah I definitely get that! I saw a lot of people say they experienced that too so I guess it’s really 50/50 it works for some people.
A lot of the masks are not suited for everyday use, especially brightening ones, only hydrating ones are suited for your skin to use everyday with mout stressing it out. There are some Japanese brands that are specially made for everyday use like lululun, or if you want buy silk or cotton mask sheets and soak it in your toner and use it as a mask, it gets the maximum effect of your toner, and dosent stress out your skin too much because toner is made for everyday use. I recommend naturie homotogie toner for everyday masking
What type of masks do you use? Maybe they weren't high quality masks!
Also not every face mask is suited for all skin types. Just like beauty products in general.

@@lemon_boii1074 becoz before putting on the sheet mask you have to clean your face and most people also exfoliate use toner then apply the sheet...in winters touching water is a very big deal so yeah and while using sheet mask alot of amount remains on the packet which most people apply on their body and you wouldnt want to put on a unclean body so have to wash your body too

I enjoy using masks twice a day. There's a Japanese brand of sheet masks called Saborino, & I use those as a morning mask. They're actually marketed towards using them in the morning. So after cleansing & toning, I'll apply one of those for around 10 minutes, & then carry on with the rest of my routine. I have the Mixed Berry ones. The most of my sheet mask collection is from either Target, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, & Ulta. If I'm buying them online I use, StyleKorean, YesStyle, Jolse, eBay, & Althea.
Nope. Just always keeping an eye on the skincare sections of my local TJ Maxx, Ulta, Marshalls, & Target. I do place online orders from time to time as well.
I'd always thought sheet masks were expensive, but i think i will start using them twice a week after watching this video.

I used to use sheet mask once in two days.. I also use clay mask when I’m not using sheet mask.. so I use them alternately and my skin turned out great.. but I would like to recommend “ Holika Holika pure essence sheet mask “ that sheet mask is so amazing. it doesn’t feel sticky on my skin, it absorbs so fast to skin, and my skin looks bright in just one try.. and it doesn’t use any fragrance

I love sheet masks 😍 every time I go shopping, I find some, really cheap too. You can find them at Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, forever 21, Whole Foods, Ulta, Sephora, dollar stores, almost anywhere!! And there’s websites to buy them online as well! Most sheet masks cost $1 - $5 , so you can pick one up on a day out with any extra money you have (sometimes we don’t have extra money, ik sometimes I don’t) but just sharing for everyone who wants to try sheet masks, and wants to know where you can find them and their prices 💞
A lot of the time when I sheet mask I’ll incorporate a bath into my night routine so I can let the mask do its thing and relax in the tub for a bit but that’s not every day. Probably every few days
I at least use one every two weeks tho

Sheet mask recommendation: try mediheal, the tea tree one is the one that I would usually use because I have acne prone skin and it hydrates really well. There are other choices that you can use, but I haven't used them yet and I really wanna try them because I have a friend (we're both skincare freaks lol) she has really sensitive skin like mine and she says all are really good for sensitive skin and I agree with her.

My mom doesn’t teach me skin care, I do my self, since I commit to anything I wanna do I’m a reaaaally hard worker and I always follow a strict skincare routine, other treatments I use like benzoyl peroxide and a cica cream for redness and pimples also scars, I have a skin care routine of 7-8 steps and it might seem a lot for my age (I’m 13) but it is worth it!! I am going to use a pomegranate gel mask today for brightening my skin since I have a bit of redness and dark spots, so yeah 😌
@@s_alx02 i had a skincare routine too, (13 yrs) but i discovered that the skincare made my skin more red and breaking out.i stopped my skincare routine and only wash my face with water now and it really helped. my skin is so much clearer now and the texture has improved alot, the acne scars are starting to fade too. It works for alot of people to stop their skincare. not for everyone, but if you feel like you have tried everything and have the best products and your skin isnt getting better i recommend stopping for alteast a week

A year laTe, but I've just like done this "challenge" for 4 or 5 days now with like 3 different types of face masks and my skin is improving like crazy. More supple and my acne spots aren't red and less 3d.
I have veryy oily skin, and I usually BREAK OUT from leaving the facemask serum on my face after use, so now what I do is do a facemask for 25mins, then go over my face with water to get excess serum off. Haven't broken out since!
Facetory is a great way to get sheet masks for half the price! I really enjoy masking every night as a server I work late hours so it’s super relaxing for me to get a bath bomb lye in the bath and have a sheet mask on it’s life ❤️

how do all the sheet mask fit perfectly on ur face?? also was it just me or were there like no 'space bubbles' when you put the sheet masks on, cuz everytime I wear a mask there's always those 'bubbles' and I always have to press them onto my face like none stop
Be sure to first set it properly without space on the center part of your face and then you can overlap towards the edges, it doesn't matter
I think I’ll try this, I have a bunch of face shop sheet mask but I really don’t like the material they use for the sheet part of the mask. This could be an easy and quick way to get rid of them and buy better quality ones lol

last week, I started to use face mask + aloe vera+ moisturizer+toner+tea tree oil everyday because my face breakouts because of period. And it's really makes my face hydrated and it makes the pimple smaller and gone. really recommend it!

1 mask a day is not a thing anymore, it messes with your skin barrier. It’s too much! It will make it more sensitive. Everyone’s skin is different and it may work for some and for others it won’t, but it’s not really recommend. Being moderate is key. Skin is delicate and you shouldn’t overwhelm it with too many things.
ninetiesgal isn’t it fine with sheet masks though? I get it with things like a charcoal mask and stuff but aren’t sheet masks just filled with essence/serum so it should be fine right? At least that’s what I though 😅
Yes from my knowledge, it's okay to sheet mask everyday as long as it doesn't contain glycolic acid in the ingredients.
I also believe it's better to use the same mask (ingredients) if one were to mask everyday and let the effect of the ingredients build upon itself.
And it's super important to use an occlusive moisturiser to lock the moisture in right after.

My friend has acne-prone skin but he sheet masks like at least 3 times a week and he doesn't break out from it. I would take a look at the ingredients and research if any of them can make you break out. I look at the ingredients list to see if they can cause breakouts.

Anyone try the Muji ones? I wonder how they are compared to Daiso. I saw 3 kinds at Daiso. One was the lifting type that hooks around your ears. I didn’t try it yet. There are 2 regular sheet masks - one type in plastic cups, and one just in wrappers. The plastic cup ones in the blue packaging are nice, and you don’t spill your toner/essence with them. The ones in the purple wrappers seem to be made cheaper - there are more in the pack after all. They seem a little thinner and rougher to me, and you need to just pour product in your hand, or maybe get a little bowl.

Some of the cheaper ones usually have a weird fit on my face so the more "premium" ones usually fit my face better. If they don't fit my face, I just fold it up around the cheeks to fit my face!

I'm doing Challenge for myself for 7days sheet mask, because recently i didn't take care of my face and my face become dull.. today is day6 and my face skin become moreeeeeee BEAUTIFUL, especially the tone up so much.. I LOVE IT!
I use sheet mask every other day since I was 13. It's really helped a lots. I never had bad breakout or redness which is pretty rare because my whole family have redness at their face. I also never skipped sunscreen. Basically I never skipped anything when it comes to my skincare routine and I felt like it's worth it.
I wish I knew sheet masks (or kbeauty in general) when I was 13. My skin would have been much better. I learned so much when I discovered kbeauty.

Taehyunique Try purchasing sheet masks online! They’re way cheaper. Some sheet masks sold here in the US are marked up so much that it really isn’t worth it lol like a $1 sheet mask I find online is sold for $4 here 🤦🏻♀️

I use 1 a day and only the collagen ones that have hyaluronic acid, which is incredibly hydrating to the skin. It's naturally occurring in the body and helps tissue retain water. It's also used medicinally to heal burns and sores. 👍
I only really use sheet mask to often in the winter since in Canada it's so cold, but even then its only once every week or two 😅
All of my masks are form Sephora. Like the brand. And ultras brand. And one from bosica. I am in love with ultas watermelon mask! I love it so much! I love the green tea, rose, pineapple ones. Can not wait to try the aloe and pearl one. The black mask from bosica strips the oils off my skin and I honestly love that it doesn’t rip too much off. For others they say it rips a lot off. Idk it doesn’t for me.

I tried sheet mask the other day. When I woke up the redness tamed from mah face. I have breakouts right now and it feels so good on the face when it's cold. So I bought more and now tempted to use frequently. Idk why moisturizers don't do much on my face but sheet masks are effective on me and I realized my skin was tired and slightly irritated before but it's pretty expensive for a student to try everyday

I have acne prone skin,really sensitive skin,redness,blackheads... I was really discouraged till I discovered Kbeauty products. My skin is reaaaallly better, when my skin is cleaned i tone it with a tea tree based toner,then I put some tea tree oil and a sheet mask,a serum with a pollution barrier,and I moisturize it. My scars vanished, got no break out. Sheet masks helped my skin because the tea tree oil and toner on my sensitive skin made it more irritated because it was not properly hydrated...

I purchase most of mine! I get it from online K-beauty retailers or from subscription boxes like Ko Skin Beauty or Facetory. The subscription boxes are great if you want to try out all different kinds of sheet masks that you've never tried before. Right now I have a whole drawer full of sheet masks

hmm i definitely got to try this now. after i heard that ppl use face masks daily i feel that’s a reason why ppl don’t find a difference in their skin when they use a face mask once. you actually have to use these masks daily to see a difference in your skin btw u have amazing skin 😊

I try to do sheet masking once a week. Sometimes recently I just either mask hardcore or not at all lol. But yeah. Your skin looks good!
