The south of Argentina and Chile are so similar, you can really tell these 2 countries share much more than just a border and this island. Great video, good to see road conditions are equivalent to any other developed country.

Hello yes we went back the same way the road to Porvenir is a dirt road as far as I remember. Road quality was fine all the way.

I would really appreciate it if you can tell me how you mounted the GoPro as your videos are so smooth and without vibration. Thanks.
I used a standard mount and my gopro hero 7 4K/60fps. it has this software stabilization mode that will smooth the video out perfectly. it is like you have this selfie stick with stabilizator. For example I turned this stabilizator mode off, drove all around Lago Llanquihue, took a lot of videos and the entire footage as going to the bin as it was vibrating like hell.

It is relatively short I think max 30 mins or so.

Can you please gimme the name of the car rental company? I was planning something like this that's how I stumbled upon your video while doing research but cannot find a car rental company who will do one way rental between countries.
@@vivekmurthy3876 Sorry the video was one way but the rental wasn't. We drove all the way back to Punta Arenas however I didn't film that. We actually used Hertz and they were fantastic in terms of service and helpfulness. I made a mistake on the paperwork that is needed for the border crossing and they went out their way to help us.

Unfortunately I do not remember anymore you might be able to find it online. Also this was about 3 years ago the prices might have gone up or changed.
