There are 200 vande Bharat trains under development phase..all of these will be on track before 2025...great work indian railways ..but disappointed with our bullet train project delays due to land acquisition :)

For most of the important trains - the coaches have been replaced with LHB coaches. They are quiet good except a an sudden jerk is felt where the train starts moving from being stationery. If the engineers ( research wing of the railways) will work on this. And the staff cleaning the toilets should be more diligent - they are doing superficial work and hence over time the cleanliness of toilets are deteriorating quickly even for new coaches. Please .. Honorable Railway Minister Sir

VandeBharat is awesome train. I have travelled only in Jammu one many times. Hope to see more coming soon on other routes.
Didn't talk about reason behind the huge fare differences between Chair Car and Executive chair car. The food was way better in chair car in terms of taste & packaging while I traveled in 2019 in Varanasi Vande Bharat. May be some difference in breakfast where corn flakes were extra & cutlery. Rest is about seating & welcome rose :D. However that should not make a huge difference. I would have chosen the chair car, executive chair car is a wastage of money here !

Wait. Y does it take vande bharat 8 hrs to go from delhi to varanasi. Isn't vande bharat supposed to be high speed rail.
If the speed of travel is somehow comparable with air travel, then people will opt for high fare trains. Otherwise, it's not feasible.
