Another great thing TH-cam does with AI, is to do erroneous copyright strikes against creators that are unjustified, which require a lot of work and time to be contested, often a futile pursuit since TH-cam doesn't allocate enough resources to investigate their own mistakes properly. Isn't AI a wonderful innovation? 🐱

Ai: "Rants will never ends". There was a story when airline company Ai at customer service voluntarily gives free tickets and people won the court getting them.
"AI is here for you, it will take care of you. Submit control to the AI and your life will be so much simpler and more enjoyable, trust the AI to do what's best for you." Mynet because Skynet was already taken.
The quest has become a reality. I want to see AI accidentally generate a self destruct instruction hidden in a common phrase, then watch the smoke get let out.

I'm glad some thought of that movie, because it does predate Terminator. And I agree, this is the beginning of it. To fee ourselves of it, we have to free ourselves of our dependancy to the Schminterwebs. It is possible.
This touches on so many frustrations I've had with TH-cam/Google... the repeated misgendering, inaccuracy of their AI answers, and inability to correct your own identity or turn any of this off ☹️. Sad thing is I remember in 2009 when "Gmail Autopilot" was an April Fool's Day joke, because who would actually want a bot to write their emails for them? Thanks for the Frant.
This could just be me, but I'm beginning to think that an AI went sentient and crazy on November 5th and that everything since then has been a crazy AI babbling at us from the internets.
It's not identity theft. It's identity drift. Whether it's just a technological artifact or an actual strategy for slow invasion or erosion of personal space in an increasingly AI dominated environment.
4:40 being described as a man is kind of funny. 11:40 "an old guy" lol It likely found a strong relationship between tech-focused content and male youtubers who try to joke about themselves heavily. For funsies, I pasted a screen grab from this video into ChatGPT: 'This creator appears to be someone deeply involved in DIY electronics, retro-tech restoration, and creative projects. The cluttered workspace, mix of vintage and modern tools, and their quirky personality suggest a maker or electronics-focused TH-camr. Based on these traits, this could be a creator like Fran Blanche from FranLab, known for her expertise in electronics, retro gadgets, and quirky presentation style.'
ChatGPT was always better than Google's chat-bot. ChatGPT actually helped me when installing my solar panel array. This message was totally NOT written by ChatGPT :D :D :D
Well... you gotta admit that it's ALMOST... almost... spot on. LOL
@@TheAndy1268 I think GPT seems to perform better than Bing, which is funny since Bing AI was developed with OpenAI's help and guidance based on the same kind of architecture GPT is built on.
Hello Fran, a woman! Thank you for taking the time to post this. I too am very frustrated by hallucinations from AI.
You know like when the 4 year old learns something new, and because of their developing brains they proudly shout out the things they were told not to shout out about?
Just happy that they know a thing the grownups know, and need to share it.
The AI is happily talking about not being updated in 3 years, like a small child saying that Daddy drinks beer and gets mad at mom.
Secrets like that.
Haha that is so fitting xD
well said, Fran. please: easy. don't let that destroy your talent. do what you are born to do - we love your channel. don't let it get to you. the thing feeds himself.
Sue them for defamation
At its most clinical, take it as the summed output of weighted probability matrices, that are filled from existing data from both creators and watchers.
It's like watching a low pass filter with a high enough Q that it self-oscillates :)
I knew it! I swear I was just talking about something effed up going on with the TH-cam! Everybody was like ," no yer just always worrying about stuff that doesn't exist" so thank you for posting this!
This is all getting crazy.
TH-cam’s audience is now bigger than the TV network broadcast audience. Cable networks are loosing subscribers.
You are the third channel ’Creator’ this week that has talked in depth of these recent changes.. thanks and I am not a bot.
You are silly not to be recommending odysee
@@wilsontexas LBRY is uploader-pays unlike TH-cam
AI response : Sure man whatever , you're just jealous. 11:22 priceless commentary begins
I created a google account a few months ago, I was going through settings and found it had set my full legal name without my permission, several months prior to creating the account. Dead Internet? We have no control over this! Excellent rant and personally I'd sue them.
Love how genuine you are.
"OK... Get the axe"
Welcome to Jack in the Box. Would you like a big-ass taco?
Dead Internet Theory becoming reality
I want the one pure Fran as she is. Just the awesome Fran!
Dear Fran I missed you! I switched to a computer from my iphone and though Im using the same account my feed is vastly different and I haven't seen you at all in maybe a year. Time goes so quickly. Im aware of course Im missing my old content but the way youtube stores lists of subscribed channels makes it almost impossible to search I have so many so in consequence I dont do it. Im really happy you popped back in lol thank you so much your content is great.
My god. It has become self (un)aware. The war with the machines is turning out way weirder than I ever imagined. Forget terminator. 😂

Let AI fight itself. We can watch from the sidelines.
@ plot twist: ai thinks the same way, knowing humans are mortal and it’s just a matter of time before our infighting solves the problem.
"fran Blanch is an old guy whos a little afraid of new technology" I almost spit my drink out. This is terrifying and hilarious. Subscribed!! Also, love your hat!
I'm a bit unnerved that while I was watching this video I received an email from Cisco announcing their "AI Driven Wireless." Why do I feel like we're collectively going down a dangerous path?
Humans will always do dangerous things. It’s just an aspect of reality. And boring it would be otherwise
" Why do I feel like we're collectively going down a dangerous path? " Ans: Because we ARE. Corollary - there's no stopping it.
The AI bubble is about to burst anyway.
@@kyoudaiken We can only hope.
Some of it is just using "AI" because it's the latest buzzword. In another universe, Cisco would be announcing "Wireless with ELECTROLYTES!"
I also want a "Fran Blanche is an old guy who's afraid of technology" t-shirt. That would be the best merch.
Ai: "Rants will never ends". There was a story when airline company Ai at customer service voluntarily gives free tickets and people won the court getting them.
No, I think you nailed it with the terminator lines.
It’s a brave new world and it has no idea what it’s doing.
You tube AI learned from all the users videos and comments …lord help us.
first :D
AI now sees how useless creators are. soon AI will replace the listeners as well. it will be so much better.
HA !!!
That'd actually free up a lot of time for me so i'm here for it !
@@anonymes2884 ha! that's the attitude! see you under the bridge!
100% Agreed. There should be an opt-out option. If something isn't broke,
we don't fix it around here... Cheers to you Fran! 🍻
"AI is here for you, it will take care of you. Submit control to the AI and your life will be so much simpler and more enjoyable, trust the AI to do what's best for you."
Mynet because Skynet was already taken.
Yeah, this is the type of stuff that makes me want to stop watching videos on TH-cam.
OMG this is not a rant, it's so entertaining, WTF from Fran are peak comedy for me. Thanks Fran, aka old guy/them/creator!
Great video Fran. Better be careful.. I heard they uploading the" hold a grudge " emotion app this afternoon.
Happy Holidays, Fran! Shine on you crazy diamond.
Im looking forward for my man Fran to launch those other channels. Im hoping for more cans, tbh
Now I want to know what the bot makes of this video too.
The quest has become a reality. I want to see AI accidentally generate a self destruct instruction hidden in a common phrase, then watch the smoke get let out.
I really really want to see Fran react to the AI's product about this video and then what the AI will do with that.
So do I!
Fran, the "algorithm" didn't even get this video to me until today, Monday, so they can eff themselves! AI is gunna kill us... but until then, I will always appreciate your videos. Keep on making awesome content!
Igor, what was the name of the brain that you got for me? Abby someone. Abby someone? Abby, Normal. Abby Normal?...
I’m pretty sure that’s what it said. LOL
What a morale buster. To say the very least. It is insanity! Are you tempted at all? To provide Fran Feedback to the AI Feedback? Maybe as the first comment? Or in the description? Cuz..we all want to know what insanity they come up with on your next video and next video and and… Im a first time viewer. After watching this I suspect YT suggested this video because I use the F word in the same ways? It’s all I can come up with. I wonder if my banker uses this? Insurance? Dentist? I remember when they told us computers will make things soo much easier. I’m sorry Fran. Just keep being real. You got that! ❤️
the solution is now the problem
When underpaid, overworked developers do as they told. This comes from above. But why?
TH-cam is Colossus and we are all Dr. Forbin.
No, I think I am more likely the poor guy trying to disarm the missile but I don't know it.
I'm glad some thought of that movie, because it does predate Terminator. And I agree, this is the beginning of it. To fee ourselves of it, we have to free ourselves of our dependancy to the Schminterwebs. It is possible.
TH-cam keeps deleting my comments all the time. I never know if my quite ordinary comments will be removed by the AI or not.
Mine keep getting deleted too. This is probably deleted so no one is reading this.
This just in: TH-cam's new brain has gone insane in the membrane
( INSANE IN THE BRAIN )
Crazy insane, got no brain~!
I have never seen your channel before and the algo put your video in the top of recommended videos...
Creator? Maker? Sounds like fran has been given a divine promotion.
This could just be me, but I'm beginning to think that an AI went sentient and crazy on November 5th and that everything since then has been a crazy AI babbling at us from the internets.
"I am not a robot". LOVE your video.
Cans do do what cans do, can't argue with that logic. (...except when they are tea cups.)
"A trick of the light", said Fran. Par Cans?
cans do what cans do but frequently they ("AI" "engineers") don't ask if they SHOULD ;)
A can can can, because all cans can can and have always canned and will continue to can. Can an AI parse that?
A cans gotta do what a cans gotta do...
@@davefenton102 What can we do to help, the cans...
I hope Fran doesn't take it as much of an insult to her but just laughable bugs with youtube. It even ridicules itself so it isn't something people should take seriously.
Hey AI : Saying less is more and saying nothing at all is Golden
TH-cam's AI rollout seems to be a bona fide CHARLIE FOXTROT 🤦♂
Its a bona fide FOXTROT UNIFORM
TH-cam is part of that happy culture, over-there, that doesn't think much of gender labels.

Did an experiment. Copied other comment and then posted it. My comment vanished. SO I find it amazing that one person say say something, but I am not allowed to say the same.
They clearly don't want us to think for ourselves. If we keep going on tjis path, we won't have a voice of our own. Our brains will be totally dependent on AI.
Next stage is the AI will also create the video for content creators and post comments on it
@@bornachThat’s the channel I need so I can find the time to be more creative.
@@jameslifetimelearner How/what do you mean?
@ Fran’s rant videos get the most views. The simple AI algorithm supports this.
TH-cam already had a brain 🧠. It brought me to your video to prove that point. Generative AI isn't the totality of what AI is.
This is endemic and emblematic of what’s wrong with our country😢
It is just like the politic. A feedback loop of garbage, between politicians and ”news”.
