Am I missing it or did you not provide the Nailer's model? I can't find anything on Dewalt or James Hardie sites that will just say that "this gun is good for Hardie Board." All they talk about are pneumatic guns and I have no access to power, hence my interest in battery. I've got 6 or 8 20v Dewalt batteries. Also, the Dewalt 20v Max has a lot of jamming complaints, was that the gun you used? If so how was that issue for you?
Did you use one and three quarter inch nails or something else? Saw several posts where the longer Nails would jam put Hardy wants you to use them so I'm confused @@fixerupperdad
I been looking at the cordless Dewalt roofing nailer since I have Dewalt batteries i am also looking at using it to install fiber cement siding.
Its good for it, still need to fine tune with hammer if you dont want it set to overdrive them

It is a roofing nailer. No jamming problems at all.

@@gcdesroches standard 1.25". I only use real plywood sheathing.
Been trying to find someone using that roofing nailer in Hardie. Did you shoot roofing nails or siding nails?
