@@SeenThroughTheLens A 28 f2 has the ugliest bokeh ( horrific realy), and K 28 f2 has nice bokeh and pretty good resolution but not the best. But my K 28 f3.5 show huge vignetting and I never used it, not even stoped down to sweet spot at f8, not even at f11, and not even on APS-C....K and M show better colors in shadows compared to FA 28 f2.8 that darken the shadows too much, but FA has much less vigneting so that's what I use when I need a 28.

I would like to see a picture with the back of the lens. My copy has a washer right behind the last lens, and I would like to know if this is normal.
I haven't used other 28mm lenses from Pentax, but based on my research I believe that this K 28/3.5 is sharper than those M or A-series 28mm f/2.8 lenses.
I'm sitting on two of the pentax k 28 3.5 and they are my one of my all-time favorites. I chose these over my pentax Hollywood 28mm f2.
It is an awesome lens. I've not been able to try out the Hollywood one, but I guess it's not too bad either.

The Yashica 28 ML is a big looser wide open.
