SO glad you enjoyed the video, Annie! I hope they become your dog's favorite treats too. Be sure to share the Christmas Cookies video with your friends who have 4-legged family members who would LOVE these tasty cookies (with icing) as well;) ~Ken

Any tips to make it so the icing doesn’t crack when I dries?

How do you keep yours from cracking? Any larger piece of frosting I put down cracked as it dried.

Hi there! I haven't had our icing crack. It may be the size of your cookies though? We also make sure to bring the cookies to room temperature before moving them. Thanks for watching! ~Ken

Thanks, Nicole! You can substitute several different ingredients in this recipe if your dog would prefer something else. You can switch the whole wheat flour for rice or coconut flour. And you could substitute cheez whiz or a similar product for the peanut butter. Hopefully, those changes will work for your furry family member!

With the yoghurt, do they need to be kept in the fridge?

Hi there, Kate. I usually do leave these in the fridge. I don’t know how long they would last out of the fridge though. I usually make enough to last our dogs about 3-4 days. Thanks for watching! ~Ken

I make dog treats all the time i just cook them all and freeze a lot of cookies with nothing on them only put the icing on a few cookies that you want to feed your dogs.

I'm wondering how long it takes the icing you made to "set" or harden (amusing it does harden). There is no natural food store for coloring where I live, but would have to travel at least an hour each way to the closest one. I know I can probably order online, but so many times shipping is just absurd. Will have to check around and see what I can find. Thank you for the video!

Hi there! The icing set pretty quickly. This was a large batch of cookies. By the time we were finishing up, the first ones we had put icing on were starting to get firm ~Ken

Is it safe for dogs to eat tapioca starch by just adding into the yogurt?
