I have the 124G and a Rolleicord. Agree that they are fun to use. Can use them handheld but my handgrip makes framing less wonky. Use the G on a tripod to take infrared shots. Both incredibly sharp.
Great video. Thank you for posting. I am interested to know what focusing screen you have chosen for your Rolleicord and which one was not an improvement? Cheers from Ontario.
I’ll try and do one for that! But on ebay they are from China, one of them has the prism in the middle and another one doesn’t. The one with prism is no good.
@@3sixty2degres It might help for you to consider an Oleson (spelling?) or a Maxwell focusing screen. I have contacted Rene at Service Camera Pro and he can install them. I have not made up my mind about making the change for my Rolleicord. Part of me can tolerate the dim viewfinder on the Rolleicord - I tell myself that I am looking through/back to 1956 after all. Cheers from Ontario.
@@westonsmith4572 Yes I understand about not wanting to change it, though I think it's you who mentioned yours didn't have the prism, so it has bee changed before. I kept my original and I might put it back one day just for the "original" aspect of it. but the new glass looks really nice.
Tu m’en diras des nouvelles! Présentement je l’adore j’ai dû prendre une petite pause mais ce soir je compte bien aller essayer le burst mode pour des longs expositions
Great video with really nice images!
Fantastic video!! 6:03... Wow!! That composition turned out really well! Keep it up!!
I love my Yashica Mat! It's my favorite camera to shoot, in spite of having to trade hands to focus and wind the advance lever.
Yes. Much like the photos I get with it the light meter helps
You’re very funny. I’m enjoying your videos very much 😘❤️

Great video! Do you reckon it's a worthy upgrade from yashicaflex?
Yes very much so, I've retired the Yashicaflex
