I'm a dad of a 4 year old and finances are heard at the moment. Yet I try my best for him. Last Christmas hit hard when he was happy I got him a mini bounce house and trampoline. He said "best Christmas ever!" Followed by "you work hard dad". Had me tearing up, him not knowing I ignored a few bills to give him a good Christmas. This song is awesome.

4 step children, 3 boys and a girl from the first marriage that I screwed up but I tried my best to do right by them after their dad basically turned his back on them. Even though their mom and I aren't together anymore they know I'll always be there for them. As I start my second marriage with another stepson and twins on the way this song hit me like a ton of bricks the first time I heard it! I don't like pop country but this songs words are so strong in my heart and soul that I don't even notice that pop sound. This song speaks to my soul not just my heart or mind!
