- In this video from the 2021 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas NV, I catch up with this 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner.. "Hellrunner" .This is no run of the mill parking lot show 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner...It's covered in a bronze color that is close to a color You could have ordered back in 1973...But the paint would have never been this nice from the factory...It also has a black accent stripe that runs over the roof. There aren't many body modifications...But things do fit and line up better than when the car was new. I wasn't able to see the interior, But from My understanding it is custom and has all the options you would have got on a 2016 Hellcat...Under the hood is the 426 HEMI Hellephant engine delivering 1000HP and 950 LBS of Torque..The suspension and brakes have all been upgraded to handle all that added horsepower...I don't see a lot of this body style Plymouth Roadrunner and the ones I do see usually are restored to stock....This 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner from the 2021 SEMA Show is not only restored to a very nice level...That horsepower shortage from 1973 has been corrected also....Very cool for sure...Check it out!!!

Not a MOPAR guy but what a sweet looking automobile. Very sleek. Almost had my Dad talked into helping me buy a 72 Sattilite until we opend the hood to a 440.

That's a really cool car , love the colour and the wheel's 😀👍🏻👍🏽
Right on...Thanks for checking it out!!!
My friend gave my dad one of these a long time ago. Same color almost with a white vinyl roof. It was lowered by way of the suspension being all worn out. Ran like you would expect a free car to run. We taught each other how to do burnouts in the thing. Even though it was all clapped out, it still had the look. These are great looking cars. Its nice to see one done up right. Thanks for the memories
You're welcome Brother....Thanks for checking it out!!
I'm loving these cars with big horsepower modern motors 👌🇦🇺
What's not to love...
Brings back memories of my 74 RR.
Cool!!
Beautiful roadrunner scottie, nice colour and stance, thanks for sharing cool vids brother👍👍😎
You're welcome Brother...I thought it was cool too!!
You are right, they were not a top choice in the day to the point you did not see many. That being said they really perfected this one. Love under the hood the best, it's all just what needs to be there and no more. A car I was never interested in that I would love to have now just like it sits. Thank you sir.
I hear ya Brother....I wouldn't mind having this one either....You're welcome James!
Very sharp car i love it all i remember when my uncle bought a new one when he got back from Vietnam war his was lime green with the flat black finish and he took the original rims off and put on a set of cragar rims and white letter bias ply tires 60s on the back it looked really nice.
Right on...Thanks for checking this one out here!!
Nice Roadrunner. *Beep beep* I remember Daisy Duke owning a yellow one and her tearing up the streets of Hazzard. I think this one would rip the asphalt to shreds. Another awesome car. Thanks Scottie
lol...Right on....You're welcome Brother!!

Man i never knew a 73-74 could look this rad...never really been a fan of that front end until now.
Stance and wheels....
A friend, and fellow racer, runs a blue one with white stripes, and a 360 engine in NHRA Stock. Cool cars. Pretty aerodynamic as well. This one is exceptional. Thanks Scottie.
You're welcome John...Thanks for checking it out!!
What a clean mean car man!!!!!
For sure!!!
Dang nice car! I love everything about it. The wheels, the color, yes even the size. It’s perfect to me.
I dig it too....
Wheels resemble the 66 or 67 Charger's
Cool!
@@ScottieDTV .....hubcaps, lol I meant to say hubcaps!
Growing up in that era we had no idea what Road Runners, Dusters and Chargers were. Everyone had one. Heck, in high school I had a Caprice Classic with a 402. Friend of mine had a Cuda with a 340 6 pack. Wrecked the car and found another just like it but different color. My father had a Charger with a 440. They were just cars to us but my dream was always a late 60's Galaxy 500
Right on...Those were the days!!
I totally agree, there is nothing not to love about this Plymouth. Thanks for sharing once again.
You're welcome...Thanks for checking it out!!
Yes, the stance Scottie, lowered just right out back. Back in the day 90% of these were jacked up super high in the back the image still fresh in my mind. Nice body/paint work here and graphics just right. Wheels are awesome. Plenty of power, right on! Thank you Scottie, love to see this era RR. 👍
Cool cars for sure Brother...You're welcome!!
Oh my god I would love to buy this car
Thanks for checking it out!
That is an amazing Roadrunner! I really like how they kept the body original and not to chopped up. The use of the Hellephant engine is icing on the cake. Keys please
