Just so you’re aware…. the back of those Gucci bags (w the heart) some go down further than others do depending on the style. It’s usually in the center of the back but the hearts point at the bottom can come down a little bit further on their Marmont bags. Also, as for the chain and the leather strap, depending on the model they can be different as well. I hope that helps so you don’t pass on any authentic ones thinking it’s a replica. I also commented on your other video w the Louis Vuitton. I am a collector and I’ve authenticated for years. Louis V, Chanel, and Hermes are the brands I purchase the most of because they are investment pieces. Gucci, Fendi, Prada, etc… not so much. Anyways, great video :)

Fun fact - TJ Maxx was started by Zayre and was owned by them. TJ Maxx was spun off and Zayre merged with another store called Ames in 1990. Ames was a regional chain of stores similar to Walmart, Target & Kmart located in the North Eastern United States and they went out of business for good in the early 2000s while TJ Maxx continues to thrive to this very day.

@@jc5531 I must have watched something different because I felt the total opposite. I used to work in second hand shops so I know the true breakdown and feel he’s fair. Plus he always explains why he offers what he offers. A lot of these types of businesses aren’t as open as he is
You may appreciate this. My friend for an on line estate sales company. I helped her pack up an elderly millionaires house (silicon valley) of items he bought from Amazon. He is addicted to buying things over and over and his son told him he could keep one of each thing but rest was packed up. I packed up about 200 GoPro and similar cameras from Samsung and Sony. A couple hundred security Camara set ups. Accessories for cameras, a bunch of dash and rear view cameras. All never opened. A couple hundred drones. Around three hundred of those remote control cars, tanks, and things I don't understand. Then all types of knives, survival stuff, camping and gun thins. I am sure he is happily replacing all his removed items
To be honest I used to work at a second hand store and saw a lot of knockoffs and there didn’t look like much effort went into them at all. They were sloppy with the stitching, material didn’t meet up correctly etc. Shoddy at best
It doesn’t take much effort at all to make a crappy bag and stick a logo on it. Then if you even manage to convince one sucker to buy it for even close to the price of a real bag, you just made a lot of money.
24:11 I mean, if this dude thinks he can sell that Dyson for $200 then go online and sell it. I hate it when people say, “yea but online they sell it for such and such” it’s like, yea but if they were selling you wouldn’t be here with it. I mean I was SHOCKED he even offered $150 for those items. I was actually thinking 75-100 max. He is really honest because all the pawn shops I go to offer 25%-40%
For one of their cordless ones maybe, but for a corded discontinued model and after Dyson said how terrible corded vacuums are there is no way he can sell that to anyone.
Not only that, but Dysons suck. They suck ass. Actually, I should rephrase that they don’t suck as far as a vacuum goes they are the most over priced tin Lizzies piece of shit vacuums on earth you want a good vacuum cleaner you buy a fucking Riccar or a Miele they will last you for life they get free maintenance for life they have HEPA fabric bags not the fucking bag less bullshit vacuums quite frankly, I would never spend money on a Dyson. They are such crap. My parents have bought several of the highest end ones and they’re literally junk. I won’t even use them I use their Oreck and their Riccar and Miele, and I spent $1700 on my most recent Riccar. I have another one that was 700 they will last forever. They are the fucking bomb Diggity. They are the Rolls-Royce of vacuum cleaners Dyson people do not waste your money. I’m sorry I’m gonna put that out there if you have the money to spend invest in a quality vacuum just because it’s expensive. Doesn’t make it quality buy from a dealership not Walmart not target buy from here. Reputable vacuum dealer just like you were a vehicle. It sounds silly. It sounds funny but I take my fucking vacuum in at least twice a year they clean it they service it. I buy my bags there. I buy all my stuff there. They will always unclog it repair it for free. I think you get two years of free maintenance with a Riccar, if I remember correctly that includes belts bags, cleanings everything and that baby still runs like a top. It still looks like the day I bought it no scratches no scuffs it’s not all gummed up with gross stuff because they take care of it and they can definitely last as long as you take care of them, I don’t personally owned a Miele but my parents too, and I was told they are comparable to Riccar and you can get them for a lot cheaper now than you used to. They’ve actually gone down in price. Don’t waste your money on these sharks were these Dyson’s they’re junk and if you have allergies, if you have pets, if you have combination, hardwood and carpet, stairs, and flat surfaces, you can’t go wrong with a Riccar canister vacuum
I used to work in pawn shops. People would bring in a Kirby vacuum cleaner that they had paid $1,500 for. In great condition I might get $200 out of it. Lol.

It absolutely does not matter how much you pay for something. This man has gotten items for DIRT cheap and flipped for their current value and more. As a collector I’ve traded with people who found amazing deals. One guy had a CIB SNES with a few CIB games then had a ton of other really amazing items and was honest said he went to an estate sale got it all for like 100$. Bunch of manuals, sealed games etc. I still made an even trade. Why does it matter what THEY paid? It doesn’t. Good on them you do the same and make money. Was crappy to do that to the guy after making an offer just to back out bc he got a good deal? That’s the entire game and why people like Pete are in it… they’ve done the same thing for DECADES. Don’t like it when someone else does and honest? If you got it for 50 you expect to sell it for far less than it’s worth? Makes no sense
It matters. He's not an expert in that field. When he found out how much the guy paid for it instantly i started thinking it was fake or stolen. Im sorry but thats a red flag. If you were buying a car from more. We test drove it around the block and you like it. We agreed on $9k. We get back and i say "Im making out so good on this. I paid $200 for this car!" You'd start having a few more questions. Is it about to blow up? Is it stolen? Who the heck sells a car that cheap unless its junk? etc. You're lying if you would say it wouldnt matter ONE BIT.
@@JanoyCresva Correct. We all know it's possible for people to come across unicorn level items for dirt cheap, but because he's not it expert when it comes to grading and it was a lot of money- it was enough to cast more doubt on how safe of a deal this may or not be. It's like being in a sporting goods store and listening to someone tell you how great a particular fishing rod is and getting excited about it, only to find out a few minutes late that they don't even fish.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

Yes the color of the *topluxs* is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
Typical Pete…someone should make a scammer video with everytime he backs out of a deal or changes his offer, or misrepresents an item, or overpays and overcharges.
You can also do the foam in bags packaging. You fill the bag with a liquid that foams up, you place is at the bottom then you place the object. Then you fill another one and put them on the top and your item is safe.
Did you see the look on Peter's face when the guy said he had $35 in the game? His whole attitude changed. Pickers never tell what you paid for something not even after the deal is done. It hurts your bargaining position.

Pro tip: If you store "crazy glue" in a refrigerated area it last way longer before after breaking the seal. If you are putting it in your fridge for example, just make sure to store it in somthing, just encase it leaks, you don't want it sticking to the fridge.
To be honest it was naughty in a degree to renege on the Gameboy but when someone says they only paid $35 for the two, alarms do ring so don't show your hand until the $$$ in it. Hope the grading goes well and a fair deal done - no need for hate until then, if at all! Can't wait for this deal to play out.
Peter, I've been an ebay seller for 26 years. What I've learned is if you have a lot of watchers and the item isn't selling, is that it's priced too high. When this occurs, look at recently sold listings and drop the price accordingly. Before listing an item, always sort other similar listed items by lowest first and then list your item for a dollar less. The key is when people sort for lowest price first, which many people do, your item is always comes up first. Most items I list sell within a day or two using these methods.
Solved if you want to make it an all day job of either accepting, counter-offering, declining offers, or replying to buyers emailing ridiculous offers, making special requests and counter offers outside of using the proper channels. No thank you. Been there done that.
@@ksamsel5809 you can set offers to automatically accept and decline at whatever amount you choose. Also, by listing your items for $1 less than the lowest priced item you are just perpetuating the race to the bottom among eBay sellers. Imagine if every seller did that.

Well then i'd start wondering is it stolen? Is it about to blow up? Was it totaled? Theres just so many red flags that a comment like that throws. But some people just cant help but brag and let everyone know how smart or cool they are. @@The1realro

I saw the thumbnail and I had to tune in to see this beauty. I'm planning for my next *amzrepe* . I can't decide if I want the Pochette Metis or some other type of LV with a strap. I own the Speedy 30 and would love a crossbody on the lighter days. For now I carry my LV Zippy wallet as a clutch when I don't want to carry my Speedy. I was thinking of buying the classic crossbody Gucci again. I owned it when I was a teen, but I didn't appreciate luxury pieces as a teen. I think I sold it. Thanks for this video. I love these videos.
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *amzclothes* buying the items I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things.
Wow! A new show to watch. This gentleman seems like a great person! And being a cat freak,I love his little friend. Soooo cute.
Love your videos man, you are a genuine fair guy 👌🏼 hi from 🇬🇧👋🏽
Just found this channel love it
I love how respectful he is even with all the fake shit people try and sell him
I have the COPYMAXY , Bastia, and Kelly pockets like you, and I agree that the buttons on the Kelly pockets are too prominent. I like the Bastia and Calvi for being relatively flat and not "cramped"!
So glad I discovered this channel this week, literally in my top 5 channel rotation. Cheers Pete 🍻💯
What are your other top 4?
I never imagine myself enjoying Pawnshop videos. Great Channel, im liking these a lot. Side note, the phone ringing sounds exactly like mine, I get confused every time lol
I saw the monster truck "Grave Digger" in person at a truck show, super awesome!
I did too back in 1992 in Philly
Same I had a bud light with the driver and sniffed his seat lol
loved the effects with the fly / bug flying around! nice finds on the GBA stuff.
Watching these videos makes me realize the value in some items that I’ve either donated or trashed over the years. Never again!!
I love the process, the leather always becomes the highlight. And the perfect manicure by Hahns. Beautiful hands make something once beautiful become beautiful again. It is such a joy! *unidups* The bags here are from a shop I frequent, and I generously share them with you today, don't tell anyone else!
Did we see Pete’s true colours with this video? What he did with that guy was low.
This comment makes no sense. you don't understand what he was saying, and he didnt even buy the item, so what exactly did he do wrong?
Ur a really good guy man, i see and hear so many stories of u helping people down on there luck etc, I came into your store like 10+ years ago not sure if you where the owner then but if so then u also helped me much love from Wisconsin brother keep up the content

The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
At this point, without the lava lamp, it’s just not Craigslist hunter
Pete just to let you know... I'm really enjoying the longer video format!

I do agree but in my mind if someone said they paid that little for sealed video games, I would question if they were real or not. I know people find stuff at yard sales all the time but those games sealed are very very very hard to find, let alone just come across in the wild.
As the saying goes, life gives you plenty of chances to be quiet. Take advantage of them all.

I want to say Game Boy Advances came with 2 AA batteries in a little plastic bag inside the box if I remember correctly. The Game Boy Advance came out in 2001-ish so that system is 20+ years old. I'm just wondering whether or not if the batteries inside the box have leaked at all...
the COPYMAXY would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
Yes! Zayre had this strange smell in the store and anything you brought home retained that smell for ages. Near me, before Ames was Ames, it was called Murphy’s Mart. Oh the good old days!

@@jc5531 I must have watched something different because I felt the total opposite. Great show. I live near CL and need to check this place out. It seems that everyone really enjoys their job here. Seems like a great place to work.
the effort it must take to make a fake gucci bag they might as well go the extra mile and make it exact

SE Asian countries, thats all they sell and act like its real.
It doesn’t take much effort at all to make a crappy bag and stick a logo on it. Then if you even manage to convince one sucker to buy it for even close to the price of a real bag, you just made a lot of money.
If they made a high quality bag, they would sell it at a higher price, obviously. That's the point of fake junk, it's junk.
The fake bags are mass produced in Thailand sweat shops for about $1 each. Been there. Seen it.
I am from Dallas, TX and it is so interesting to see how differently people dress in Illinois compared to here!
This isn't a pawn shop.

Very lame I wasn’t expecting that. Lost respect for him too
Yes the color of the *topluxs* is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps.

Never say what you paid, old mate knows now.

Just turn on offers. Literally problem solved.
No
