As someone who obsessively oc’s on details, you make this video feel like pure ecstasy!! Love loooove loooveee you attention to details! I hope this helps me with my cosplay i plan on doing before the conventions start again after all this pandemic! Thank you so much!
I'ma use a similar design for a Scorpion cosplay from MK 1. I never liked the fabric version of the padding, so I'll just do this and extend it while adding additional cuts. Thanks bro, I really needed this
: "Chris, you comin out tonight?" Chris: "Nah..Sorry, I just blew the months budget on shoe polish again!" Great video. I actually used a hot pen to cut all the holes in my aquaman gauntlets , and then laced them with thin elastic cord, so that they look laced, but slide right on.
Man, as always you continue to amaze! They look so accurate, and it really seems like you’re putting 100% into this from the start! Keep up the great work, and take as much time as you need until you’re satisfied!
Damn Man. Thats absolutely marvelous work.Who knew EVA foam could so screen worthy! I wish Henry Cavill could see the work you put into this ! Fingers crossed!
That is one hell of a witcher costume! 👍 I actually prefer the way his costume looks in the games over the show (although I appreciate, that they did this as a nod to the games). Probably, because the games' costumes had more visual interest than just rivets. But man, seeing this get made out of foam - I don't know, it just elevates my acceptance for the costume. I might really come to turns with the design after seeing you build it.
As a medieval arms and armour enthusiast, I massively prefer Geralt's in game armour. Its WAAAAAY better designed in terms of functionality. The shows armour is just fantasy trite. Henry as The Witcher though? Awesome. He killed it as Geralt.
I love this video, your skill, artistry, craftsmanship and resourcefulness is awesome. I've recently subscribed to your channel and found all of your content fun, educational and inspirational. I can't wait to see the the rest of this project and more from Cos Play Chris in 2020. Salute from your fellow neard here in America. Malaika 👍✌😊
Now that I'm of an age that I can grow a beard and long hair... I am 100% going to attempt this cosplay Thank you for inspiring me to attempt this project! :)
Man you would not believe how many people go into my comments asking how contact adhesive works. READ THE LABEL PEOPLE. Also is there any reason the rivets are so chaotically placed? Like why did they make his armour like that?
Question. How do you attach/put on the bicep bracer? I'm struggling to find a way to do it that's secure. I'd love to see a video of you putting the whole outfit on. Beautiful work btw! You've been my main source of reference for my own Geralt Armor!
2.0mm drill bit , had to slow video down to see the size. That 2 mmm leather cording ? Also, did you consider or regret not doing the edge binding wrapping around to the bottom and lacing through both?
I really want to use this to make my own costume, but there are no measurements anywhere, and I kind of need templates or shapes for the gauntlets and everything! Can you post measurements or something?
While this is incredibly cool, I've had to reglue over and over again the pleather to the foam. What wasn't mentioned here were the complications and how to resolve them.
When you applied the pleather, it made it look genuine. Great job so far Chris.

This definitely going to be one of your best cosplays yet!

Incredible work. I saw your posts on IG and I legit thought you were working in leather.

Hi chris! Are these templates available anywhere? I would love to use them for my own Geralt cosplay.
I love your EVA foam working techniques!
This is so cool Chris, inspiring me to build my own Geralt cosplay.
I recommend for other foam projects to use a Kershaw Knife Sharpener to sharpen X Acto knives or box cutters
Where's your patreon so i can toss a coin to this Witcher. 😂

You do some amazing work, Mister Chris! Your passion shows in your art. Thank you!
Me: can you show me where the rivets are?
Worker at Micheals: sure. how many do you need?
Me: yes
WOW! I had no idea how labor intensive this project was going to be. Mad props to you Chris! Good luck with all the sourcing of materials!
Love ya presentation dude, really intriguing to watch. Have a good one man 🤙🏼
Fuggin hell Chris....this is looking badass already! All the hard work paid off on the look of the pads.
Great Job Chris! I'm currently working on an Apollo 11 A7-L Spacesuit!
Matthew R Okay, Mr. Adam Savage.

Dude holy shit your killing it as always!!!
Damn Man. Thats absolutely marvelous work.Who knew EVA foam could so screen worthy!
I wish Henry Cavill could see the work you put into this ! Fingers crossed!
This is so cool. You’re putting in serious work on this one and it’s going to look freaking incredible, I can’t wait.
I'm also conflicted, there are some pics I can find where the bicep part is two pieces vs. just 1. Mainly screen shots from the show not on posters.
Please hurry and upload more!!! I want to cosplay as the Witcher for my local comic con and if you wait till winter to complete I’ll miss it

I always look forward to seeing what you do next. Excellent as always. Praying for Australia. Take care, be safe.
Think you could scan those templates for us less creative geeks and geekettes who wanna tackle this costume as well? Great work!
Yes! I at least need measurements for the templates please so I can scale them down. It never says anywhere
Really Nice good to see you buildung again and using Eva love it
Great video saw some new techniques with the foam you did I haven’t seen anywhere else
hi Chris, beginning to look like a very expensive authentic piece of armour, great job, keep it up, love watching all your videos,
ooo really looking forward to this one
I love your costume Chris it looks amazing so far keep it up
I gotta show more respect to the blacksmiths in the Witcher 3. Imagine making this from leather and steel.

That's outstanding!!! Looks the nuts !! Well done man 👌👌👌😎😎😎. Cant wait to see the finished product 😉

Looking awesome so far! Can't wait to see the rest!

BEAUTIFUL WORK CHRIS ❤😱
Love cosplay and the Witcher....thanks Chris.

2am USA gang, I keep that notification bell rung 🙏
Also I'm so impressed with how quickly you've been smashing out this bad boy Chris, can't wait to see the final result!
These are fucking fire damn..awesome work my friend.
Question. How do you attach/put on the bicep bracer? I'm struggling to find a way to do it that's secure.
I'd love to see a video of you putting the whole outfit on.
Beautiful work btw! You've been my main source of reference for my own Geralt Armor!
Either Velcro or a strip that goes around the bicep.
Love the look you got goin' man! 👍
How did you attach them to the torso piece?
hay a fellow aussie cosplayer! great work here
100th comment! Another bloody great video mate, cosplayers do it best!
was it you that came to my store and literally bought our entire stock of floor mats ;) ?
So how do you attach the shoulder gauntlets? Are they attached to each other?
My question exactly. Ever figure that out?
I would have tried making all those studs myself to make the costume look more handmade and medieval looking
makes me wondering if this would be stury enough for larp light battle
looks so good 😍
Kookaburra singing in the old gumtree, merry merry king of the bush is he, laugh kookaburra laugh, and I forgot the rest
Try a wood burning tool with a thin attachment for punching holes.
hey Chris, what about a sandtrooper armor weathering video?
So far so good, can’t wait to see episode 3. Also what do you have planned for a sword?
Please do a tutorial for the silver sword i really need some help with that. 😢
Fantastic!
That was good. Got some skills this lad !
2.0mm drill bit , had to slow video down to see the size. That 2 mmm leather cording ? Also, did you consider or regret not doing the edge binding wrapping around to the bottom and lacing through both?
So clean!!
1. How tall are you? 2. Do you have any patterns to share / sell for this ?
Chris a fantastic job how do you attach the shoulder pads and bicep pads to the torso ??
I really want to use this to make my own costume, but there are no measurements anywhere, and I kind of need templates or shapes for the gauntlets and everything! Can you post measurements or something?
really really great job.....
I give this a HMMM/10.
Looking good 😊
It's gonna look good, go you

A blow torch? I live in an apartment, so...any alternatives for heavy duty equipment loke that?
The People who disliked this video are the ones who didn't toss a coin to their Witcher
Nah they toss salad not coins
thats crazy good looking bruh, surely you're gonna grow the hair out and dye white
Geralt of Rivet-a
Take your thumbs up and leave
😂😂😂
u got any templates?
Also... there’s three pads? There are two on the bicep, I only see the shoulder and single bicep one you’ve made... are you making the other ones?
It depends on the version of the armour. In the first episodes he has two pads. The beltpart also is different.
I saw a new iron giant toy at Walmart today. It's about 12 inches tall, but is very cheap looking. Maybe you could work your magic on it.
You should make your own lightsaber from scratch? Just a video idea🤷♂️
Epic!
