We should definitely think like a big club and just buy Eze he is a special special player and definitely worth 65 mil. Ito is also a very intelligent defender and since he can cover 2 positions for 25 mil, that's a good option especially for squad roation.
Murillo would be wonderful, but Ito would be a steal. People will love him. He fits Ange's system like a glove. Know people who watched him from time to time. He has a wonderfol work ethic and is a lovely chap.
There is a significant fact no-one seems to be baking into this, our front line even with the same personnel should be much better next season. I say this because if we are willing to give Ange time to settle and get his ideas into the players, we must give them the same amount of time to learn and adapt. It is a complete 180 from how we played under previous managers. I seriously believe if we take an additional 10-20% of our chances next season, you will see a totally different Spurs.
We passing the ball to Romero and he sits on it. That is the crux of our attack. The ball needs to move with alacrity and get over half line. We bouncing it around and the wingers are not in full flow like running a relay leg. We did that first 15 games and then it disappeared.
Gibbs-White is a very good squad player for a top 7 club, and he's better than the majority of our sqaud! You need players like him in your squads. You can't just go around only buying up top-level talent. You're not playing a video game!
I think Eze will have better offers than Spurs, or he stays at Palace due to his release clause. Spurs do not pay release clauses traditionally and they won't want to lose both Eze and Olise. MGW makes sense for this board because he'll be a cheaper alternative to Eze and Gallagher.
Mgw is a good player has alot of attributes, started off strong wolves coming off the bench as a playmaking 6 at times, i remember him doing it against Spurs to good effect in wolves first season in the prem. he isnt the quickest so not really ideal to play wide role in Ange Ball but can pass and is skillful. He played a fair few games as emergency striker this year for forest so is quite versatile. For me he’d be a madders rotation option if he came in. Id prefer Eze

Sean , Real Talk: The valuations that some people think that our forr-sale players have are completely out of touch with reality. We are not getting 20 million for Emerson or 20 million for PEH or 10 million for Gil. These players simply don't have those market values. Notice that in all these conversations we are the team that don't have the players with buyout clauses. We are the team that are going to be taking major losses on sales. We would be lucky to cobble together 20 mil in total for the three players I mentioned.
Morgan Gibbs White is as average as they come, had one good game against Newcastle last season scoring a hattrick and that's his seasons highlights. He's nowhere near the level of Eze or a Maddison for that matter. His compilation clearly shows how raw he is on the ball, he's just a tryer who doesn't have a lot of skill. There's a reason why Forest are willing to sell him because they know they can buy better for cheap. Morgan Gibbs White is not better than Bissouma or Bentancur, he's a good two levels below those players.

Great video! love the rants... I reckon the main reason our large institutions seem so inefficient despite their intended goals and structures comes down to corruption. In any system, if one does not account for less than honest brokers skimming bits off the top, then there needs to be systems in place to identify and eliminate these usurpations. When it is discovered that there is no effective mechanism for dealing with this sort of corruption, the flies swarm and the real value of any endeavor is drained. In this case the true value of premier league football being entertainment and community cohesion. The changes we see in the epl seem to be mirroring those of western global capitalism, which happens to be in the self cannibalizing phase of its decline, providing less and less economic stablity for those it claims to represent. Sean have a look at Martin Lipton interview on Chris Cowlin pc, 24 minute. He states for every $1 you make in sales of transfers you can spend $5, talks about revenue made at Europe and amortisation. Can you make sense of that because sales x 5 plus guesstimated budget = over 300mil.
Will take a look when i can but what hes saying is thst you amortise the transfer over the contract so if you spend 100m on a player on a 5 year deal, it basically means you pay 20m per year off your accounts. Whilst that may be true, that doesnt mean we can spend 5x our budget as we have been using that model for years so we are still payng off slices of all our previous transfers over the last 5 years. We still owe 300m in players we bought but havent paid off yet over the last 5 years. Its easier just to think of the budget per season and as we usually spend 100m we will still pay 100m this year in my opinion + sales

I think Murillo could be a fantastic defensive midfielder.
For I wish we were going for Olise than Eze cause then he can just walk into the club and play the rw and if we need him to he can play the cam if we get Gallagher we don’t even really need another cam so I feel like Olise would be so much more useful for the club than Eze
Sorry to do another Sonny, but you’ve only go to look at the utilities, water, energy, rail etc to see where the government has done better. All have deteriorated under private ownership, and with the devastating Chelsea news I’m now all for an independent regulator.

Great video! love the rants... I reckon the main reason our large institutions seem so inefficient despite their intended goals and structures comes down to corruption. In any system, if one does not account for less than honest brokers skimming bits off the top, then there needs to be systems in place to identify and eliminate these usurpations. When it is discovered that there is no effective mechanism for dealing with this sort of corruption, the flies swarm and the real value of any endeavor is drained. In this case the true value of premier league football being entertainment and community cohesion. The changes we see in the epl seem to be mirroring those of western global capitalism, which happens to be in the self cannibalizing phase of its decline, providing less and less economic stablity for those it claims to represent. Just a thought....
We need to start signing players .. be same old same old we big players up we're being linked to then bigger clubs end up signing them and we lose out as usual

Interesting comparison with Gibbs-White & Eze and much like you, I dont really see where Eze naturally fits in and Gibbs-White will be better value, only a slight decrease in quality and will be more suitable in a squad role because you'd really have to shoe-horn in a 68m signing into the team somehow to justify the outlay.

Sean have a look at Martin Lipton interview on Chris Cowlin pc, 24 minute. He states for every $1 you make in sales of transfers you can spend $5, talks about revenue made at Europe and amortisation. Can you make sense of that because sales x 5 plus guesstimated budget = over 300mil.
Will take a look when i can but what hes saying is thst you amortise the transfer over the contract so if you spend 100m on a player on a 5 year deal, it basically means you pay 20m per year off your accounts. Whilst that may be true, that doesnt mean we can spend 5x our budget as we have been using that model for years so we are still payng off slices of all our previous transfers over the last 5 years. We still owe 300m in players we bought but havent paid off yet over the last 5 years. Its easier just to think of the budget per season and as we usually spend 100m we will still pay 100m this year in my opinion + sales
