Spain is the worst country to be self employed in Europe, they make you pay a fee of almost 300€ per month + the accountant, even if you are not earning a penny. So in an example you are earning 10k a year they will take away 4k a year and make you pay taxes so you are left with not even 5k, I really don't understand why spanish people don't protest about it.

Thank you for this video, I am very concerned about the "cuenta propia" procedure and it was interesting to see all the details about it. What is holding me is the waiting on the "homologación" of my design diploma (to prove my skill as required). How important do you think is this to my digital design field? Can I do without (since it took a lot of passive time)? Many thanks!

@@CeCeTheAmputee I got an email that they switched the delivery to digital version due to the pandemic. Visited the link provided and downloaded a digital version. So yeah I got it after almost 2 years of waiting it was for the "formacion profesional" by the way. The baccalaureate one takes way less something like 3 months.

If for example I applied for a freelancer visa and there is still no resolution for 4 to 6 mos, is it safe to assume that there is administrative silence and thus the application is approved?
Yes! That is what our director Ainhoa talks about on this video. If you do not get a ¨NO/DENIED,¨ in that time period, then you can assume it was approved!

Usually, you should get a resolution within 3 months. So, if 3 months go by and you still do not have any news, then that means that it was denied."
@@jovich88 Hi, the administration has delays and they approve it after 3 months. Legally they should give you a response in 3 months but that is not always the case.

Thanks for the video! My partner and I are thinking of moving to Spain with the Freelance Visa since my partner is a graphic designer, but we are a little confused about how that would work for me. Would I not be able to work at all? I am also self employed, so would I still be able to work for companies that are not located in Spain? Would I need to apply for a completely different type of Visa? Thanks!
