Never played this but it looks like it has tank controls and a lack of 360 movement, the ball moves too fast as well, I would of been miserable playing this. Good too see something new though 👍
8:00 "Smilebit, who I've never heard of" They're responsible for developing Jet Set Radio on the Dreamcast, and its OG Xbox-only followup, Jet Set Radio Future, both of those games I feel are worthy of checking out. They're both skater-based platformer games with creating graffiti and dealing with clans being the 2 main focal points of those games.
I kinda wonder how you would do at this game's sister title of sorts, Let's Make A Soccer Team. Wouldn't recommend it because it kinda sucks though it's a bit better than this... World Football Climax. Marginally.
Bizarrely I was playing this a couple of days ago! It's alright. Very stiff as you say. And unless there's a knack to the passing, the targeting is awful. When an opponent's name appears above yours you can press one of the shoulder buttons to go into a zoomed in one-on-one, much like ISS3. Not my cup of tea but an interesting feature! Also noticed there's an integration with Let's Make A Soccer Team, where you can import a team from there. Another that might've improved with a second installment but with PES being so good and FIFA getting its act together at the time I guess it made little business sense.
Thanks for doing my request YET AGAIN lol. Serie A and B, La Liga and Segunda, and the top two divisions in the Netherlands are licenced. Player mode is a player career mode where you can even manage your players' off the pitch matters. It's a shame that the game is extremely stiff to control as there are a lot of good ideas in it. Also, how do you get these out so quick lad? I mention it this morning and you have the video made same evening, my question is how do you get access to the games so quick?

Yeah it’s a pretty cool game but it’s not PES 5/6 which was always going to hinder it.
