Baki was mad at himself because he felt relived when he went back in the building and Yujiro was gone. He knew he escaped an ass kicking and his body felt relieved. Baki didn't like that his body was acknowledging that Yujiro was still stronger.

I need to explain something that is not explained in the anime but explained in the manga. Kaku's Xiao Lee is absorbing energy from the attacker and stores it, and he can then release that energy in his punches, which is referred to as (HYPOSTHENIA). So basically, Kaku's attacks are the energy stored from Yujiro's attacks.
Baki was relieved because he was scared of yujiro and that's why his legs were shaking because his body was telling him not to fight him

Yeah he’s a fighting genius. Though he can sometimes underestimate people he still has plenty of fighting knowledge. He’s practiced pretty much every martial arts, at least the ones he seems worthy of being added to his arsenal.

overall a good reaction but I don't understand why he doesn't understand why the crowd is mad at jyaku and tried to attack him. I'm glad he understood kaku's past though. strength will eventually leave everyone but technique will last a lifetime.
