      I am not crazy! I know he swapped those numbers! I knew it was 1216. One after Magna Carta. As if I could ever make such a mistake. Never. Never! I just - I just couldn't prove it. He - he covered his tracks, he got that idiot at the copy shop to lie for him. You think this is something? You think this is bad? This? This chicanery? He's done worse. That billboard! Are you telling me that a man just happens to fall like that? No! He orchestrated it! Jimmy! He defecated through a sunroof! And I saved him! And I shouldn't have. I took him into my own firm! What was I thinking? He'll never change. He'll never change! Ever since he was 9, always the same! Couldn't keep his hands out of the cash drawer! But not our Jimmy! Couldn't be precious Jimmy! Stealing them blind! And he gets to be a lawyer!? What a sick joke! I should've stopped him when I had the chance! And you - you have to stop him!

      Really, in a way, I thought it was somewhat sad. Jesse was just so out of it and Hank knew it. And Jesse knew that if he testified against Walter, Walter likely had the connections to have him killed, and even prison wouldn't have been able to keep him safe. His only chance would have been the vacuum salesman.

    Remember, Aaron Paul never had acting lessons. This man is incredibly talented

    • @somedorkydude6483
      @somedorkydude6483 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +109

      To clarify for those who dont know: this is true.
      Arron did not take acting lessons. Arron did learn to act with small plays and working his way up from small roles but never striking big he was just a background actor or a temporary charater his most infomous appearance on tv was winning some game show and some people and even that appearance you might not know he was jesse because arron pauls last name was actually Sturtevant. I say was because paul is arrons last name as of a month after bcs ended. Arron went by his middle name paul and later struck a some what special role of a charater named jesse pinkman he was just there to be walts ticket to the crime world andlater killed off but it became apparent that arron had a lot of tallent. Then the actors strike and they realized since they missed the opportunity to kill off pinkman in season 1 instead of game endjng jesse jn season 2 they decided jesse needed to stay. Then arron almost died on set. Not joking.
      Its funny brba most of the charaters you wouldnt have realized how different the original plan was for them. Hank wasnt meant to be a big charater just a foil for walts masculinity until they realized dean had potential. Gus was just some guy to solve walts problems in s2. Walt would out grow saul. Mike was created because bob wasnt on set.
      A lot of the charaters were actors who had exxeptional potential which at first didnt stand out but did. Bcs had a bit more established actors while brba had actors who had more potential than bince initially thought.
      Arron did learn to act just not traditionally. Thats not to say its not impressive but he worked his way up from school plays to landing a opportunity of a life time.learning from eacg opportunity and taking advice. My message isnt that its not impressive its that anybody can be a great actor and can come frkm any background.
      Fun fact bob odenkirk never expected to be more than just a actor you regknize but never can think of where youvr seen him. He even thought am i really worth being the main charater bcs is to good for me. He creduts brba saving him from bankruptcy

      Acting is overrated. It's not like a profession you have to learn. Everyone can sweep the floor for example

    • @somedorkydude6483
      @somedorkydude6483 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      @@Invalid_Username404 im not going to pretend being an actor is the same as being a doctor but its not a skill everyone can do the thing is arron didnt take acting school but he learned to act by working his way up gradually going from school plays to small roles infact jesse was intended to die in season one but the guy despite his small resume clearly knew what he was doing so they kept him around because the guy was a great actor. The guy didnt just wake up and just got a major role. The thing to keep in mind was breaking bad wasnt succesful till season 4
      Acting is a genuine skill not everyone can do. Now anybody can learn to be an actor. The thing is any skill can be learned but only a few master given time and effort. The guy learned from experience in the feild not in school.
      Now to be clear learning tk be an actor isnt as dificult as being a doctor. But my point is arron is a product of talent through experience his acting carreer was going from plays to comercials to minor roles in small shows to getting a small role in breaking bad then when jesse became the second lead and eventually breaking bad took off.
      Like i hate to sound like a stan but you shoudlnt writr off tallent like that.

    After finding out Walt really poisoned Brock, having his plan to turn Walt in backfire spectacularly, resulting in Hank and Steve dying, himself being tortured and enslaved for 6 months, and losing another person he loved it sure took Jesse a lot of restraint not to blast Walt's face to pieces when no one would've stopped him. Well, Walt still kinda got what was coming his way - though he never went to jail, he had to wait until his cancer progressed to the point of no hope in a remote hut akin to a cell, his son rejected him and his legacy became that of a monstrous criminal. At least Jesse was able to put the whole mess behind him and start over.

  • @SteelBallRun1890

    It's pretty sad, because Jesse doing this was just him trying to find one action he can to hurt Walt, because he knows he'll never outsmart him but he really wanted to lash out at him for poisoning a kid.
    When Hank appeared with a gun, Jesse probably thought that was it, and Hank was one of Walt's pawns that was unknowingly being used. Probably thought Walt led Hank there somehow so Hank can "accidentally kill the deranged" Jesse and tie him up as a loose end.

Remember, Walter had lied to him that he had nothing to do with Brock being poisoned in order to get Jesse on his side in order to save his own life during his struggle with Gustav Fring.
      It didn't really have much to do with Brock himself; after all, Brock was fine.

Every major setback on this show has been in some form the result of his negligence and fake morality. He chimes in on the kid drug dealer (Andrea’s brother) to Gus, gets kid killed. He tries to confront the two dealers who orchestrated Combo’s assassination, that results in Walt having to save him from assured death (because Jesse really ain’t about that life) and in turn fucks up Walt’s relationship with Gus.

Jesse is not a moral or good person. He's very loyal and incredibly trusting (one might say "naive") to a fault, however, and for whatever reason draws an arbitrary line at the use of kids. Throughout the story, from his little brother, to the two druggies' small kid, to the kid who killed Combo, and finally to Brock, he's incredibly mindful about their welfare (possibly stemming from his own childhood, and history with his overbearing parents). A reminder that he literally took the blame for his younger brother having weed, which ultimately resulted in his parents effectively disowning him.
      It's not about some moral high ground that he's taking that he gets angry, he's not trying to prove a point by getting angry, it goes deeper than that. From hanks perspective he has no reason to care about him. Hank wasn't a saint but he wasn't a "terrible person" either. He was one of the morally better people on the show

    Jesse might not actually be that much of a victim when I think about it. He had plenty of chances to get out but because he wanted to stop Walt he basically fucked himself. He could've just taken his share of the money and left town but nope. He just HAD to try to be the one to take Walt down.

    Everyone keeps talking about how good an actor Aaron Paul is & Im sick of it. It’s clear that the actor is just told that he poisoned a child and they recorded his normal reactions and then after the scene is over they explain that it’s just a show and they all have a good laugh and then they tell him no seriously he did poison a kid and he has to do it all over again. So yea, he’s a good “meth od actor”

    Something I never noticed about this scene and I've seen this show four times. At the very end of the clip when Jesse says that sitting in DC waiting to be a witness against Mr. White is going to go "great for him" and he says it in a sarcastic tone, I feel like he's referring to all the people that Walt just had killed who were in jail. He's basically saying that it doesn't matter and Walt will have him killed, amazing writing and acting. This show is legendary.

    Truth is, of Jessy being a better partner, walter wouldn’t have had to commit as many atrocities as he did, most of the bad things Walter did during the show was the consequences of cleaning up a mess Jessy did at some point. Perhaps Walter wouldn’t have become so “bad” but of course, of being push and force to make the same choices, he would probably do exactly that.

    Jesse chose to be a drug dealer. In fact, during one episode he spent with the little boy, where the mom dropped the ATM on the dad, Jesse saw first hand how the product that he made and distributed ruined people's lives and in many cases, led directly to their deaths. The babies and little children of these addicts were also affected, as Jesse witnessed first had. Jesse was responsible for Jane's death and indirectly responsible for all people who lost their lives in that plane crash. Jesse was responsible for that boy getting shot when they robbed the train, he was responsible for the men that got killed in prison, he was responsible for Andrea's death and her son growing up without parents. He was responsible for murdering Gale. Everything that Walter was involved in, Jesse was also responsible for because he was part of that organization. Yet he has the audacity to say Walt can't keep getting away with it? Jesse was just as bad. Yes, Jesse went to the DEA, but if he knew he would get life in prison with no possibility of parole, would he still have gone to the DEA? The only reason he didn't flee was because he found out Walt had poisoned Andreas son, and he became all indignant.
    The character Jesse was a pivotal one in the show. I just personally didn't like him nor did I sympathize with him in any way. Because of him and what he chose to do, untold damage was inflicted on thousands of people.
