Thank you filming this, I have not been home in over two Years and this almost like walking downtown myself seeing some of the changes. I miss the smells, the people and the food. Great video!
I was stationed (army) in Stuttgart in 1967... and loved it. Beautiful city... nice people. I returned for a visit years later and much had changed. The street cars were gone and there was now the U-bahn. Konigstrasse was now a gigantic pedestrian mall. I can't say they weren't good for the City...but it was kinda painful anyway. It was still a wonderful place though.
