"I got me a shield, im popping it" is letting your teammate know youre gonna be sitting still for 5 seconds and not helping them. And "im opening this door" is helpful bc in fortnite, sounds are very key and if he didnt call out he was opening the door, his teammate could possibly think its an enemy doing that. You see what i mean?
