Everyone keeps complaining about how much he has changed and blah blah blah...but I think he has just matured is all. Especially after watching this video with so many back to back moments of him this year...I can see it. All I see is a boy who has grown up to be an even more mature and intelligent and thoughtful young man. Who also still jokes and laughs and smiles when he wants.
He isn’t depressed I don’t think. Tired, maybe? And not willing to put up with BS or silly questions anymore? Wants to be taken more seriously also? He has just matured. I don’t see the problem with wanting to distance yourself from childish things and be more like an adult...when you are an adult lol!
If people see a problem with that and say they wish he were still how he was then maybe they are not mature enough and need to grow up. There is nothing wrong with Taehyung. He is a beautiful soul...leave him be.

I agree, he has grown from childhood and matured into a beautiful young man. People tend to forget as well that so much of the out there behaviour was simply his coping mechanism entering into the spotlight and trying to discover who he really was as a person. Taehyung has said it himself that people tend to think that when they meet him, he is who they see in front of the camera and not the real him. We see the Fan boys that are so excited when they meet him and place him of a pedestal. A place he doesn't want to be. Imagine being a really social person and everybody you meet has this expectation on who you are. He seems to have entered another phase of his life and it won't be the last. We all change and I thank god I am not the same person I was in my teen and early 20's. Who would really want to revisit those years.

That's what I've been saying. Totally agreed. People tend to over analyze. I am sure he does not appreciate all the fuss about him being more reserved and making a big deal would give him more stress. Let him grow up and be whoever he wants to be.

Ok so, whether Tae is “sad” or “growing up” or whatever...can we just not over step our boundaries and create far out assumptions about him? About his personal and social life? We don’t him personally, and we don’t what he’s been through this year or before. So making theories about his personality is like and how his psyche is goes a bit too far.
