It's good for you to show the family and employees that it's OK to play and have fun with the machinery Andy. We're all still kids at heart. Thank you.
I was a mechanic for mahindra for three years. I really liked these Roxor little jeeps, really fun to drive, I thought farms or big property owners would be the perfect demographic for purchase….as far as mahindra tractors go…they make a fine boat anchor.
Thanks for the "ride-along" . That Roxor sure appears to be a fun and capable little 4 wheel drive vehicle. I'm thinking I might like to get one to cruse around the Arizona desert with instead of a typical ATVs most people use.
It was my understanding the original tooling was for WW2 production in India for the Roxor. Not that anything was copied. There are other obvious improvements. Heck… the tooling for USA Jeep’s still had remnants of their military heritage. It’s the sturdy design that’s held the test of time!
Thank you for sharing.. your kids are very well deserving of the Roxor.. As a farm kid myself growing up on a family dairy farm, my parents would also buy us kids toys for helping out and also being good kids like yours...
hi Andy andrew, yes they are still makin them and they changed the front end to space for a winch to they are bout 18k, and have ac and heat to now,not bad im think gettin one, your keeping yours up nice looks good, couldnt make it up the hill ha,low would have got up there,ok later Andy
That thing is pretty sweet. I have often thought about selling my international scout and taking the money and putting it towards a roxor. That scout is pretty cool because it came from the factory with a diesel engine but it's just so damn rusty and I am not a good autobody guy. Awesome video Andy. Your videos are never boring always entertaining and enjoyable and I guarantee everybody that reads this comment agrees with me.
I tried to buy a diesel scout from one of the LAST dealers in STL. It could not get out of its own way!! Zero power, no turbo. We researched and found out it was a forklift motor that even Nissan had rejected to look at from the dealer!! Crooks. I really wanted that Scout but no parts supply said different. Friend had a V8. Could not stop it. If 3 bolts were required, Scout had 10.
@@MWestern-m4g That's funny that's what mine has is a Nissan engine that was used from what I read in forklifts and things like that. This one's turbo charged though and it goes really good. I may have messed with the pump a small amount lol
@Oliver 880 I have heard that as well. Mine is just a regular open differential in the front. The rear has a locker but I put it in. This one that I have only has 10,000 original miles on it. The guy bought it brand new just to plow his driveway, and parked it inside sometime in the early 90s. From what guys have told me it sounds like most of them rotted out pretty quickly
That little jeep is really kool wish I had one to play around with congrats on getting the manure pit cleaned out im sure that was a really big job and a load off your mind now that it's done
Wide spread Panic today in Iowa, Last day of the 50's Then Snow Friday night til Saturday & Below zero temps . That Roxor looks like alot of fun Need to get Jerod to put a turbo on it .lol
Great explanation as always Andy. The Roxor could be turned into a Cincinnati Bengals Jeep, you're at an excellent start will not take much more to finish. Lol!! Definitely look you up at the next one. Stay safe!!
If you speak with Brian from Brian's Farming Videos both he and his dad have them. He's done his to be road legal plus a few other modifications. I think there a smart jeep and a great deal cheaper than one.
I thought the reason we haven't seen it for a while was that Andrew and the girls had worn the tires down to the rims and were waiting to get new tires for it. You make me laugh Andy,a boy and his toys lol.
I would love to have one of those jeeps or Mahindra's especially in the color of orange like yours. And go camping with it in the summer with no cab, that would be exciting and throw in the fishing poles also. Andy have you ever gotten Army equipment for your operation like a 6 wheeler or a bulldozer as it looks like you could clean up some groves with one.
Andy we farm in Wisconsin too, but racing is the shit up here ,and one of the best drivers of all time in my opinion was Richie Evens from Rome NY , we have some of the best up here but Richie was the shit
I wonder if one can import the doors and front windshield panel that went on the older Mahindra Thars and if they would be a bolt on fit. Unfortunately I cannot drive one legally on road in CA, but moving sometime soon to AZ or NM, one of the first things I will buy. Grew up with these in India, would love one here.
Andy, maybe some Fluid Film would help keeping the body in good condition, won't help your driving though! Watching "Laura Farms", Sara and Alex could have their own TH-cam channel, that would be interesting!
Everytime you go up by the parlor I cross my fingers that you'll go inside 😂 Keep up the good work! Glad to see you take the time to have a little fun and not just work all the time.

The daft thing about that legal wrangle is another country a little closer to Mahindra's home in India, are brazenly knocking out "replicas" of all sorts of vehicles (European, other Asian marques), and no-one's doing much about it, because they mostly keep them in their own domestic market.
They have a receiving pitt up by the barn that the scrapers in the free stall barns dump into. Holds manure for a short time. He had a video awhile back cleaning sand out of the tunnel under the barn with a skidsteer interesting to watch 👍
Actually, Mahindra had every right to build the vehicle they have been since WWII. Because they have a perpetual license from Willys to do so.

Pretty cool vehicle- definitely would be handy around the farm.
The best part is Andy attempting to make us all believe this video was all for us...like he wasn't having fun playing with his toy on the icy slopes.
That colour is making it look funky. 👍

Nice looking rig! Where did you get the soft top???

Thanks Andy - I knew you were going up the hill one way or the other.

Aww days of 4wheeling on the farm I miss that Nice video
I forgot all about this thing, so cool !
nice little toy - thanks for showing
Sounds like you're having fun playing.. 😆!!
Seems alot of fun?
Andy can you give us a tour of the parlor sometime?
I f I was Andrews age and my dad brought one of those with all the places around the farm that it can go it would be needing a new set of tyres.
Enjoy seeing you have some fun other than working all the time!!
So Junior doesn't need the flip down clutch pedal any more? I thought the lad had grown a bit since the summer.

The jeep soft tops have the same issues.
Andy! You wash it then take it in the lagoon first thing? Haha. Cool little rig. I see you got it for the kids. You being one of them.
Thanks,
Out for a Sunday drive eh Andy? Your brothers rig looks pretty cool too with the star on the hood.
Enjoyed the ride along 👍
Great video as always could you please Do one on the milk parlor thank you
I see your brother's has the windshield wiper. You gonna put one on yours some time? Cool little vehicle for sure.

Just gonna have to SEND IT!

I like the orange better than green.
That thing looks like a lot of fun. Have you taught them to send it yet??? Thanks for the ride!!
Haha, they have to learn that on their own
Good job. Thanks for the ride sir.
Put some of the undercoating on it that you showed a while back.
Awesome thanks for the ride along.
we need vid of milking parlor
That was a fun ride Andy!
When you were showing your brothers Roxor was that a alley scraper truck that went past in the background?
Yes
Andy, Your orange Roxor got baptized by driving into the manure lagoon! LOL! It’s not a family vehicle until it takes a trip down there!
Love your videos, what was the maintenance app/program for your trucks?
TATEMS
If Andy, the mechanical master, is complaining about how much of a pain that soft cab is, it must be bad.
Thanks now I want one of those
A kid is always going to be a kid good video
Great video! That's a cool little rig. Have you got a picture of your old tie-stall barn?
He has a video of taking down the old cow barn and some pictures of the farm over the years it's pretty cool

I think a set of lockers is all the Mahindra needs to climb that hill.
Where does the manure go while you are clean ing the lagoon?
We can enough for a few days in the barn pits
