Really glad to have found this channel. I'm transitioning to a freelance medical/health writer as a side gig before jumping into it full time once I retire from my corporate job. Is there another avenue to use if we have further clarifications ?
Thanks for the question. There's a certain 'style' that's expected for all the documents we produce in pharma. Examples probably illustrate this best: search.slidegeeks.com/powerpoint/Pharmaceutical. ...So use of icons, and graphics to make the information as visually appealing as possible is important. The medical writing jobs you are talking are mostly posted by multinational CRO. Can a foreign doctors who have experiences apply for the jobs ?? Or Do i need working visa to apply even the jobs will be done remotely (Fully Remote) ?

Thank you for these useful tips!! I submitted my completed medical writing test about 10 days ago and have not heard back yet. Do you think it's too early to email them and ask for an update? I really want to know if I passed or not, but don't want to come off as impatient.
I guess these may have been on site. It can be challenging to prep for these. From my experience I've had to write a short summary/abstract, and a copy editing test during an interview day before. You can practice both of these writing deliverables in advance

My tests were only 45 min to 1 hour! How to prep for those?
