I wonder if the California relocated office employees had an employee revolt and said that they needed to have windows for their office spaces and that is the main purpose of the Southern extension????? As pointed out elsewhere, there are practically no provisions on the Southern extension for truck loading docks for manufacturing line deliveries......... The sheer size of Air Conditioning that will be needed to cool that end of the facility is going to be ginormous! Texas summer heat plus southern sun exposure and those windows are going to push interior temps to 30 -40 C for sure, for sure.....

@@franklinmargolis2051 I think primarily through the existing building. My wild speculation is that the extension is for $25K/Model 2/unboxed vehicle to be produced in this open for all to see fully glazed factory. Various components built elsewhere in the factory, moved up to the extension in the same way castings, stampings, battery packs etc are moved into the current GA building. There are these 3 trenches being constructed away from the south wall that are located at what I think are almost subterranean door openings. Might be part of the plan to bring in materials through those also. The tunnel. Joe has some insider information that this is planned for new production vehicles only. Not to say it couldn't be used for shipping stuff through it, but that would mean extra handling to load onto smaller vehicles that would fit in tunnel.
