There is actually a lit of controversy over King Ludwig II death as well, which is thought to have occurred at the lake at the bottom of the mountain.
maybe Neuschwanstein (new swan stone) looks a lot like a fairy tail castle because a.) its only defense is location, the rest of it is useless against siege engines b.) it was only build for looks and luxury b.) disney took inspiration for their castle from neuschwanstein
