Haha, was so annoyed at my rating. This brought back memories of my legs burning from going up very steep hills which was not fun but the payoff was pretty darn good. Also, the almost deafening silence once you were up there was amazing. I still stand by the chalk figure of my abuela(s) they both deserve it. Thanks for the invite Cool Dude! See you laters.
This is one of my favourite places, and the Downs are ancient and beautiful. thank you guys for walking here. X Also nearby, Avebury, the 3 Clumps (of trees, stunning views where my friend and I got chased by a little raincloud, really followed us, paused when we did, and did not rain on anyone else. Weird but true. ) Also at the end of the 3 clumps eventually, a lovely hillfort, think its called Cadbury castle nr Swindon incl parking- not sure on name.
Beautiful scenery & cows I’ve went on a walk to Uffington white horse a few years ago that was also very nice. I think a chalk pigeon would look great 🤭
Wiltshire is obviously the 'Shangri-La' of the UK as even in December, when I assume it must of been filmed, the weather is hot and sunny. I live in Swindon Wiltshire and can confirm it never gets below 20c and is like living in a paradise (of sorts).
Lovely walk! Always had a soft spot for white horses and chalk figures. Some boffins reckon the famous White Horse might have meant to be a dragon... Others theories reckon ancient were just rubbish at doing horses. I'd like to have a hillside chalk Nessie at Loch Ness, so all visitors could see some sort of monster! Regarding the staring cows, I hope they are not in league with the pigeons...
If you ever see any horses with hills chalked on them, that was me. I keep forgetting to order a Mini Marek. I shall rectify that today. Awesome episode boys

Ah, summer! Looking forward to this type of weather and exploring new routes. The monument on the hill looked like a miniature Culver Monument. I hope you have not hatched any elaborate plans to deface this one with pink paint! Congrats on 7.5k subs by the way!
That chalk pathway up to the monument is a nightmare with it being slippery when wet and bloody dog poo so best trying the steeper left side as you look at it grass covered approach. On top used to be a huge Bronze Age hill fort and can see ditches surrounding it...quite a commanding position for a fort settlement. Incidentally Cool Dude you missed pointing out he old Yatesbury airfield and the derelict buildings roughly where Tarlton/Lyneham on your video is..Google Map it.
Aww the staring cow is so cute! That looked like such a lovely walk and I miss the sunshine. I'm going to Aylesbury this weekend so I'll try and get a photo of the mini Mareks while I'm there.
Hey Marek (And Carlos ! 👍😃) Great episode, really enjoyed this one. Don't think I've ever been to Wiltshire. Oh hang on ...... I've been to Bath ( locally known as Barrrth) - which is an amazing place. 😃👍 Does that count? 🤔 Not sure if that's the same County. I think, an enormous picture of Sunglasses Marek chalked into a hill would be most excellent ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍 Take it easy Cool Dude. Keep up with the brilliant episodes. 👍

Must admit that Carlos chose well with his Red Leicester mini cheddars but Cool Dude No1’s lunch was tip top My chalk outline suggestion would be a big thumbs up 👍 as, I’m sure everyone would agree, it would be very very cool indeed and would help the morale of walkers when they spot it (plus it might be worth lots of spotters points too… 🤔) PS liked the Mountain Equipment jacket, number 1 - which was did you get? I like the Vulcan GTX one but I can’t find it reduced 😢in the sales 😢And why was there anti-cow scaffolding on the monument featured on this video….mysterious….
A thumbs up would be great cool dude. This is the hooded jacket that I have from Mountain Equipment: www.mountain-equipment.co.uk/collections/mens-fleece/products/lumiko-hooded-jacket
Hey CD#1, personally I would make a UFO in chalk on the hill to freak people out. I did also notice that Carlos had a better lunch and would give his a score of 4 but yours only 3.
I've now watched this walk from your and Carlos' perspectives. If you could put up with even more TH-cam walkers you could edit a Rashomon inspired film. Can I have a chalk hawk please?
Chalk Hawk gets extra points for the rhyme. I can barely put up with Carlos let alone any more walkers. I haven't seen Rashomon for about 25 years I must watch it again.

@@cdwc Good question, Cool Dude. I forgot to mention that I was previously abducted by aliens for a short time, and they all spoke English with an Alien accent. 👍
I want to say that I would have a large chalk blackboard in the side of a hill so that walkers can leave comments. I think there might be a flaw in that idea though.
I would like a large chalk arrow on a hill, pointing at nothing in particular. Just to give future generations of archaeologists a talking point as they try to prove what it was pointing at, and what was its huge cultural significance. My ghost would enjoy watching that.
I don't know about chalk but my husband wants a massive obelisk raised above his grave. He wants it similar to the Egyptian needle in London, with carved pictures depicting scenes from his life. Possibly a boring obelisk as most of the would be symbols of him sitting at a computer working or him asleep on the couch 5 minutes after we started a movie that took an hour to choose. Or just sitting eating stuff and dog walking etc. Anyway... Marek Larwooooood your lunch is a disgrace.... vegetables. Where are the vegetables!
The shop had completely sold out of all vegetables and anything healthy. I promise. Plus there are strawberries in the strawberry laces right? You should take a photo of your husband every time he falls asleep on the couch for a year, then give it to him on Valentines Day.
@2.24 there is a spelling mistake, you put "work" where I assume you meant to put walk, unless you actually meant to do that? Then in that case this comment is pretty pointless lol
