Some people say that it is a lack of a punchline that makes Julia’s anti-jokes so funny but I would posit that they do actually have a punchline: Jacob’s dismay.
Interesting hypothesis i concur
the punchline is the universe and you and everyone other than Julia
also Julia laughing at them
I would argue her jokes have punchlines, they are just tangentially related to things tangentially related to what everyone else is talking about, which makes them hilarious. Except the Tiger woods one, that was just a good golf joke everyone either didn't get, or purposely chose the wrong part of his name to make a bit for comedy.

Why is Jacob's voice so deep in the early clips? Have I forgotten that he used to have a lower register? Gave me some whiplash lol
Probably a different mic/setup. If the mic is closer you’ll speak lower to get the same volume
Probably also a conscious choice. A lot of guys tend to be self-conscious so he was talking in a lower register but now he's completely confident in his actual register.
Someone should make a supercut of all the weird ways Nathan pronounces things. Like, if he says Jurassic Park, he puts a lot of emphasis on the "Jurassic"
