@Drew Jackman Hey man, I'm sorry you're going through this, I just wanted to say don't give up. I totally forgot I left this comment, it seems like another lifetime, I'm doing way better. I know when you're depressed it can seem like it's never gonna end. But it will. You gotta keep going though. Therapy, exercise, a new job (just an entry level, low paying job) all slowly helped me over the years. Don't give up!

Im still a kid, and a full time younger brother. I feel like my childhood is slipping by because I'm always with the people who miss their childhood. Sometimes, I wish that I could have been an oldest child who did play with Legos and other toys. I played with the toys my siblings played with, so I was mostly on electronics as a kid, and I wish I wasn't. I never called my mother mommy. My siblings didn't when I was old enough to talk, so I didn't. I was a 5 year old trying to act like a 12 year old. As a kid, I never got to be 5 when I was 5. I was always trying to be like my siblings, not like myself. I live a good life, but I wish my childhood was spent like a childhood should.

It might not seem like it but it's because you aren't letting yourself be happy. As someone who has literally tortured themselves over the actions of others for years and as someone who has all sorts of shitty fucking chemical imbalances practically making choices for me, I can tell you that you have to be the one to make the choice. You, as a human being, 100% deserve the right to not feel alone and scared and broken, but you alone have to be the one who chooses that. A girl you love, family members, friends... They can help, but they cannot be the only things that makes you happy, because what are you going to do when they leave? I don't know your situation or who you are, or what kind of life you lived, but you can do this. Hell, if i'm still alive after so many people telling me I was never going to be anything and physically beating the fucking shit out of me, after so many friends have died right in front of me while I'm totally helpless, after so many people have left me for dead with no remorse, you can fucking be happy. You just have to believe you deserve it, and I promise you do, everyone does. Keep pushing man.

i don't usually comment on videos or talk about my feelings in the open like this. i see everyone's doing it and getting positive responses so i hope for the same, i guess.
listening to this really calms me down surprisingly, considering how bad in a state i am at the moment. i lost my mom in september and i guess you can say it isn't going well for me. it just sucks knowing i'll never have her back, ya feel?? i've been in a depressive state for a while, but not to the point where i want to hurt myself (thankfully.) obviously, mother's day is coming up and it's making this week a lot harder. it's wack seeing everyone able to express their love & thankfulness to their moms, it hurts. i guess time will tell how easier / difficult this will get, but i hope i can linger onto happiness again. i miss that feeling. any help would be appreciated y'all, thank you.
