The new host did an awesome job! I know alot of people are used to Caya, he's pretty much the face of Slide bean, but I also like that they're trying to get new people on the videos. I feel like people don't understand that Caya is a busy man and is doing alot of other things behind the scenes, so of course they'll have to get new talent so that Caya has enough time to focus on more important things for Slide bean. "The only constant in life is change", which is true even more so, for the world of business and companies.
I would segment the influencer economy from the celebrity influencer economy. It will probably be a thing soon. This is how many celebrities like Alba, Paltrow, Whitherspoon , etc can attach their names to pretty otherwise normal brands and become billionaires just for that fact instead of a real differentiating factor or competitive advantage. Super interesting.
I think it's probably the future of celebrity, combine startup culture and the fact that personal branding and not talent is the most valuable tool in today's entertainment industry.
8:29 The risk of infection, ineffective sunscreen protection, mold in some packages are fair reasons to be called out, regardless of the stance of the brand, its name.
I'm amazed on how Alba built her business. She started with personal branding, got right men around her, and created strategic plan for the future. Unilever partnering with Honest Co. is such an achievement. She is so beautiful and such an amazing person. Best wishes to Alba and Honest. Thanks for sharing Caya, cool as always. Your new host is very nice and smart. ❤️
Aveda, weren’t they one of the first on the block at ethical products, it was then sold to Estée Lauder for huge money Quite a large market for Johnson and Johnson baby bath (the clearish blue liquid one) comes from the car accessories market, window tinters and graphics people across the world use baby bath to creat a slip solution that temporarily removes the tackyness of the films adhesive (it’s great too for removing stickers too 😉
I’m kind of interested in how it’s doing versus Seventh Generation. I’m wondering if her star power alone has kept it afloat for the most part, despite the CEO change. Maybe also their agility by abandoning what doesn’t work. Yeah, you do put a target on your back with a name like that. May as well call your product “Perfect”. People are always gonna look for flaws and deceit.
Been hooked since I watched her interview explaining why she started her company. Was also (pleasantly) surprised to see this thumbnail; hard to find any great videos featuring The Honest Company.
I believe Honest will bounce back again. Numbers tell the story and growth looks promising to me. I started a position and plan to build it out. Thanks for the video
On female leaders… Where there is or was a female leader there is also or will be males. More males surrounding her than females. (I guess, similar to your situation.). IMO, this is because men, in one way or another, have been the original purveyors of all information and comprehension. We are not evolved enough to have found the the planet of women for research. Plus we don’t do much research on women. Furthermore, those few women who do become leaders, they are almost always considered an anomaly and/or super duper special. It’s systematic, at this point. Especially when the majority of citizens are created with more ignorance to critical thinking than before…. Anomalies are not only rare but like any creature that comes into power or has leverage, they will nearly always refuse to relinquish power or find any balance. This means they either fall or they stay on top, and remind us that they are the one on top. Anomalies (men and women) stay on top through the manipulation of facts or memories, by creating or using faulty laws to continue on or by brute force. Systems and chain of command systems and such… The other thing anomalies are is rare, if they exist at all. IMO there aren’t anomalies, not even athletic ones or science minded ones, it’s all marketing - it’s all magic and it’s all what we know. Everything is a copy of a copy
This host is pretty good. Will she come back? Though please talk about actual bootstapped founders not celebrities. Most female founders don't have 6 million startup capital they can just throw in.
Interesting they started with diapers. Peter Thiel said that you have to start with a group of intense interest (in this case, mother's that don't want their babies to get rashes).
always when I see someone else speaking on those videos, the more I realise HOW GOOD Caya is! PLEASE Caya, you simply can't be replaced, just please understand this and stopped letting others speak!! The quality of company forensics drops SIGNIFICANTLY!
Underrepresented entrepreneurs: this is a very interesting topic, indeed! We NEED more insights about women navigating the entrepreneurial world, as this will eventually inspire more brilliant women to launch innovative businesses. Women are getting overrepresented in most disciplines at college and yet, we keep disappearing from the business world, hiding behind white old male CEOs, doing jobs we are way over qualified to do.. Or we simply sacrifice our career for the sake of building a family. Such a loss of talents... Elle did a brilliant presentation! Where can we follow her? @Elle: please launch your own YT Channel if you haven't done it yet! (Also: I'm here to help with editorial content for European case studies if needed ;-) )
I don't think so. These kind of "value offerings" has its own dilemma. Will the consumer be able to live toxic free if he/she just buys 4-5 products of the Honest company. Unless a company offers an end-to-end (covering all) solution, it won't last and it won't be a sustainable business. So only giants like Unilever / Johnson & Johnson can offer a variety of product covering all your needs for a toxic-free life. But it's impossible to be a giant with a niche market & pricing & margins like this. It's purely a dead end.
Why are the two people narrating kind of too far away from each other. Like, u guys are so afraid of touching each other. 😭 The video feels/looks dark, i dont know why. It feels different from your old videos. Maybe it is the angle, the lighting, and the pace of speaking i am not really sure. The vibe is not as slidebean as it used to be.
@@morek3766 i don't know what is that? I am just saying their bodies act like, they do not want to get too close to each other. They are just too far away that it feels like they do not even talk in person.
The speaker sounded like she was reading. She should practice her script before taping her segment so she can sound more natural. She was also eating some of her words. I did like the feature though. it was an inspiring story.
Interesting, but she speaks too fast and has sloppy articulation. Almost impossible to follow for me (admittedly. a non-native speaker). So I had to give up after a couple of minutes.
A native speaker should have no problem understanding her. Are you a non-native speaker yourself? Heck, I'm a non-native speaker and I can pick up English from just about any corner of the world (including heavily accented ones).

True, I was hoping Caya schedule a Video per two weeks for his fans 🙏
I don't like how we hounded out the guy they introduced 3 months ago
Yep🇮🇳🌬🖤💜🖤👍

Goop is not a normal brand.
Selling stone eggs to put in your vagina, with risk of infections, is not normal.
8:29 The risk of infection, ineffective sunscreen protection, mold in some packages are fair reasons to be called out, regardless of the stance of the brand, its name.
Conclusion: Don't name your brand something like "honest"
Unless you’re Facebook 🤓
@@friction5001 ohh ye a h🤪🔫
Man the amount you guys have invested in production quality is insane. Good job
To avoid making the same mistakes im gonna name my company the Dishonest Company 👍
It's always a good day when slidebean upload a new video. :)
Yep
Shout out to all of the women behind the camera making this channel possible 🍾🎉🤘
Great Video.
I was wondering if you're planning to make a startup walkthrough video, detailing BMC etc.. ??
If you keep your promise & stay honest about your brand, than your brand will eventually survive. Same goes for Honest.
God that’s a catchy name!

I keep buying but the stock keeps bleeding. When will it stop??
Loved this video look at a company growing
Nice video & great to watch 😊
WOW THAT makes the 3 of us Jessica, u and me. LOL love your content always an inspiration for me.

What’s your percentage of female subscribers? I’m super curious about that

Awesome video!

Just how Caya is pretty much the face of Slidebean
Caya is there any chemistry going on?
Lol. Wut.
No.

too much california for me, if i tell you then you'll say i'm all sorts of 'ist'. I just wanna watch good insights without bloatware

Just as Caya speaks fast. Caya actually speaks faster than her.
She did fine. Also, you could always slow the speed of the video to 75% or slower.
Subtitles??
She did great job, but this kind of video isn't made for egomaniac.
