From 7:09 - I loved how he fought back even after the propeller blades stopped spinning, and he even tried to keep the engine alive... But did this method work like this in WW2 actually?

@@marekbudzinski3444 Thank you for the confirmation, I always found this interesting, and I think in Il-2 they did a pretty good job, we can hear how the engine is suffering from all those hits but it still keeps going somehow with the assist of the leading wind...

Hunor Magyar there was one specific case I remember where an A-26 was hit by flak and lost an engine, but the pilot coaxed it back to life on the way back.

Correct me if im wrong but are'nt you one of the best simpleplanes builders? If yes well i love your creations especially the kanonenvogel but i saw that it lacks features unlike pav the pilot's but that doesnt matter since it looks epic

So basically this is the best ww2 flight simulator in terms of physics and destruction, but I think cockpits are too tough in this game. They need to be more destructive, and falling on them would be the first thing to avoid, if emergency landing.

Why don't most of your aircraft burn when then crash into the ground? Are they somehow fire proof? Normally airplanes burn very nicely when they are full of fuel and they crash into the ground.
It’s really easy to explode in this game. But you can bypass these explosions by trying to hit the ground with certain angles
I love the physics in this game, but the flying makes me cringe so hard. Im by no means a great pilot in BoS but watching a fighter fly straight into a bomber, or that first clip where the P-40 went for the second ship makes no sense.

4:10 - He could just crash into the trucks like a kamikaze and die as a "hero". I liked how the pilot actually cared about his and his crews' life. In reality I also would do that I think but in the game or in a game like this I'm sure I would crash into the enemy 😂😂😂 This way this scene was problably more realistic.

River boats are small. Think PT boats.

I enjoy watching these videos from TH-cam on my Raspberry Pi 4B, but after serving in the US Air Force, I must comment that the physics of the crashing airplanes is nowhere near realistic. Real airplanes (of any era) don't bounce and slide and sometimes wings break off. Real airplanes crush and crumple, they aren't a rally car bouncing into a culvert in France.
