소영, “숨”과 함께 솔로 여가수 대열 합류 준비 완료
“소영”이 8월 20일 첫 번째 디지털 싱글 [숨]을 발표하며 파워풀한 퍼포먼스와 매력적인 노래로 대중들의 마음을 사로잡기 위해 본격적으로 여자 솔로 퍼포먼스 가수 대열에 합류한다.
소영은 2017년 스텔라의 후속 멤버로 합류하며 활동기간 1년 여 만에 팀 해체와 함께 무대를 떠났으나 이번 전속계약기사가 나온 지 두 달 만에 초고속으로 앨범을 발매하며 솔로 가수 데뷔 신호탄을 날렸다.
타이틀곡 “숨(Breath)”은 상대방에게 다가가서 아슬아슬하게 도발하는 적극적인 여성의 매력을 그려낸 트로피칼, 라틴 기반의 댄스곡이다. 가볍지 않은 신스플럭, 힘 있는 드랍을 통해 분위기에 걸맞는 성숙함과 에너지를 같이 표현했다.
”이제 내게 맡겨 긴장할 필요 없어“＂가까이 내게 기대”등의 매력적인 가사와 파워풀한 퍼포먼스가 어우러져 도발적인 매력을 뽐내고 있다.
이번 곡의 가장 중점인 퍼포먼스는 KARD, 몬스타엑스, 아이즈원 등을 제작한 K-pop 안무의 대가 프리마인드가 참여하였다.
요즘 해외에서 인기 있는 트로피칼 사운드, 댄스홀이라는 장르의 리듬에 K-pop에서 많이 볼 수 없는 리드미컬한 댄스와 걸리쉬한 안무를 가미했으며, 각각의 성별로 구성된 군무와, 단체 군무 등을 구성하여 절제된 섹시함으로 “도발적인 여성”을 강조하는 퍼포먼스가 완성 되었다. 포인트 안무로는 코러스 부분에 남자를 유혹하기 위해 주문을 외우는 듯한 두 손을 모으는 동작과 “냥냥펀치”라는 이름을 붙여 만든 고양이가 펀치하는 듯 한 안무로 대중들이 쉽게 따라할 수 있으며 한눈에 기억 될 수 있게 만든 동작이 있다.
눈과 귀를 즐겁게 해줄 소영의 노래와 퍼포먼스가 합쳐진 이번 소영의 솔로 첫 데뷔곡 디지털 싱글 “숨”은 소영의 앞으로의 퍼포먼스 여가수로서의 자리매김과 국내외 행보에 밑거름이 될 것이라 보인다.

I had to search up her because I'm not familiar with the STELLAR members honestly, I love this also. TBH I don't miss STELLAR. I'm glad they disbanded. Their company made them feel very uncomfortable. Like the Vibrato MV was too sexual and it wasn't their choice. I just wish STELLAR debuted in a better company.
