    Professors at my med school would never read our reviews out loud. You all were gracious enough to read them and allow them to be posted.

    A lot of these are mean, sure, but I have no indication on whether or not any of them are true. Unless someone presents me with evidence otherwise, I am inclined to believe they might have some truth to them. At least one of the professors was accepting that some of the criticisms are fair. Considering the possibility that the criticisms might have some truth to them is how these professors should improve, so they could be even better professors next year. Outright rejecting any of these complaints as just mean words from bad students is a terrible way to be a professor.

      They're obviously too full of themselves to know any better.

    I realized Hans Tiefel had retired when I see he did not dominate this video! I never had to take any classes with him (thank you, Jesus!), but he was so legendary for crushing GPA's that the Flat Hat did a piece on his reputation as a GPA killer. LOL

      Axtell, in the History dept., was also pretty good at doing that.

      I took a class with Prof. Tiefel in the '80s. He was great. Tbf my GPA could not have been crushed any harder than it already was.

    This exemplifies perfectly the arrogance of some (most) college professors. Not one criticism is considered remotely valid. What is more likely? That these are perfect beings, or that they have a distorted view of themselves, typical of people who have experienced too much power for an extended period? Seems obvious to me...

    • @bobwilson679
      @bobwilson679 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Exactly. They need to take some criticism to improve.

    • @yolkthosenuts

      What seems most likely is that these were not the majority of reviews and made by stupid fucking college kids

    • @noname8354
      @noname8354 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nah I've had a LOT of professors ask for reviews and comments from the students about certain things and use those criticisms to improve.

    too arrogant to see that?
    too arrogant to improve?

    The Professor for America Studies and the Professor for Psychology seem like good professors. The rest of the professor seem awful. Especially that Larry guy... he's so arrogant!!!
