Well explained on emptying the drain. What I saw need more practicing is infection prevention, after draining the blood its clearly visible in her gloves and she was trying to fix on the side of the bed and touched everywhere. With correct technique preventing infection is also very important. Sisters can double glove or ask for help in this cases.

The hospital staff had made the same mistake and instead of draining the waste blood I don't know what had happened maybe it get back in her body or something. She was vomiting having cramps in her stomach after delivery. USG says she had a inflammation in gallbladder n liver.
Is it curable sir ??
Can you please tell where should the container attached to the tube should be placed? Near the patient body or lower down the bed while resting?
It should be placed lower to the patient position
Sir jab hum air free karne k liye compress ya squeeze karte hein..tab agar jyada fluid rahega andar toh..woh spill nhi hoga kya.
