    Binge watched this whole season today, very entertaining, aggressive and close racing. LIke motorsports since a little boy and this series is revolutionary and was badly needed.
    PS.: Alice Powell , working class mom, what a talent. With a bit more luck she'll be the champ.

    I had my doubts about the quality of racing after the 1st 2 races, but this race 👌 That's what I'm talking about!
    It seems it took them some time to get comfortable with the cars maybe, cuz they were starting to take more chances, and this race was the best of them all.
    Kimilainen tho! Imagine if she didn't miss 2 races. A true racer with that "Verstappen move" following Powell through lol She glued herself to Powell and didn't let go 👌 good jorb!

      She is a serious contender for the next season. She got torpedoed at Race 1, she's didn't attend Race 2 and 3. She's only racing in 4/6 grand prix and yet she's finish 5th in championship. Her consistency in the second half W-Series were so good. I think If W-Series have more Grand Prix, she's definitely become a champion.

      Certainly, 53 points in three races only, if she raced the whole championship this probably would've been a three way battle for the title.

    The W series has been inspirational and I have enjoyed every race as well as the selection of drivers. I don’t watch any other form of motor racing which was not always the case however; I follow the W series and have waited in anticipation for each and every episode. The notion from some people that having a woman only series is wrong, completely misses the point, and cannot see the wood for the trees. I’m a guy and non-UK resident that has competed in dozens of super-bike races at Brands Hatch, my favourite circuit.

    • @spectermakoto9029
      @spectermakoto9029 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is wrong women and men should compete on equal terms this new women only series is basically saying women cannot compete with men. I am not sexist if a female manages to win races and get enough points in an actual series(formula 1, DTM, formula e, etc), then she should be crowned champion but this is a sellout

    • @tokolosh6467
      @tokolosh6467 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Correct me if I’m wrong, but there is not another motor race in the world that woman can’t compete in. Think about it. The whole point of the W series is to create the awareness and in doing so, attract a much bigger pool of woman into motor racing. From the exposure that that they have received, there is already one of the ladies testing with a Formula 1 team. There have also been one or two invitations to a couple of the girls to test for different racing teams in different disciplines. You starting to get the idea yet, or are you still missing the point?

      Chadwick is the champions...what do You think Will happend if she gets her ass destroyed in f2?
      What Will happend if she fail in F1 like amatti did?
      If "the best" women (the champions) becomes the new juyi ide in F1, it's going to be a "coup de grace" for womens in motorsport

    I've seen all 6 races of this championships and I really liked it! It's a nice idea and hope to see more seasons!
    But I would like to say that if this girls want to get to Formula 1 and to be World Champions they need to be more risky when racing. This is too clean , the only crashes I've seen were rookie mistakes or first lap problems, it's formula 3 they have to overtake much more. Some of this girls are talented enough to drive a F1 some day but they need to go that extra mile. If you don't go for a gap that exist, you would never be world champion.

      give it time, the racing has already improved over the course of just this first season. If W series racing is able to remain successful I'd bet the driving will keep getting better year after year as the drivers get more confident in themselves and their cars.

    Well, also binge watched all the races & Jamie Chadwick is the real deal along with that Visser chick as well. I don't know how the format go's for the championship winning driver but that Chadwick should have some doors opened for her she can drive as well as Visser. The American women, for as much media attention they got, were absolutely horrible. Hopefully Sabre Cook has a better showing next season but Holbrook just go into the booth & be an announcer because if she couldn't score a single point in a field of women in identical equipment then she has no business in a racecar at least not one of the caliber of these things whatever their engine rating, horsepower & whatever is...
