1999 Currie Cup - SWD Eagles Tries: 59 - Paul Treu (Semi Final - Golden Lions)

On Saturday 4 September 1999, the SWD Eagles played the Golden Lions in the semi final of the Currie Cup at Ellispark. It was the Union's first Currie Cup semi final in their 100th year of existence. They took a heavy beating and had to play without Anton Leonard, Johan Wasserman and Theo van Rensburg. They scored three tries. This was the second of them scored by Paul Treu (his 11th of the season).
