I love this episode. I may be my favourite of the season. Like you I cried multiple times, which I hadn't expected. Love the angst of the start (bravo Luke Newton) and the conversation outside the modiste. He'd clearly been doubting her feelings alongside his anger and hurt and the way hearing her say she loves him seems to overwhelm him with love and passion is so good. Plus, the wedding with Yellow (her colour) and that beautiful dance. This episode really covers the emotional spectrum!
I heard "Yellow" start and BOOM! Crying, lol. Cried thru the whole wedding, unashamedly. I just love Pen and have wished for good things for her. And Colin.
I love that when they're dancing and it cuts to just them. It reminds of that beautiful dancing scene in Pride & Prejudice (Keira Knightly version) it was so romantic
I love that you kept saying that they need to talk. Neither Colin nor Eloise would take 5 minutes to sit down and let her explain. Everyone wanted her to tell him before the engagement or their intimacy. She had no obligation to tell him before the engagement they were just friends. She was prepared to marry Debling. Once Colin interrupted their dance and then ran after her and got in her carriage in front of the ton he had already comprised her. The carriage drivers were witnesses to their make out and his proposal. So it was important to her reputation that Whistledown reported the engagement immediately or she would be ruined. How would Whistledown know, well servants talk. That's how Penelope get some of her information. People also wanted her to tell him before making love, but her reputation was already jeopardized , if she told him before and he called it off she is already ruined. So making love with Colin would not entrap him, he had already entrapped her. Plus, they were so into each other that they were not stopping for conversations until they had finally made love. Pen had been waiting so long for Colin to love her and Colin was so excited to finally have someone he had a real love connection with that they were not going to wait. After that everything spiraled so fast that it became too stressful for Penelope to tell him. I'm disappointed that she didn't tell him before he discovered it for himself. So I don't blame him for wanting to take time to brood over his hurt, but I wish he would have taken the time to discuss it with her and understand why Whistledown is so important to her before the wedding.

I was a total wreck the entirely of this episode fr, the angs, it broke me to see colin feeling so betrayed, understandably, but the wedding omg you could see the love in his eyes 🥺
I love the REAL look on his face when she came down the aisle but I'm sad he slept on the sofa on their wedding night. He needs to get over it, like he did when he kissed her in that doorway. And my goodness, the man does LOVE to go under the dress 😂
