He doesn't realize the loophole doesn't work or refuse to realize it doesn't, so he's pretty much stuck in business.

You know for some reason I thought of two reasons why Caspar might want a human heart, 1: it’s to teach the signer of the contract a lesson in greed, and to see just how far your willing to go for your wish, or he needs a human heart to be able to use his magic to grant wishes (I don’t know why he’d need a human heart to use his magic don’t ask me)

I gotta say, I love the small little differences in visuals from the original version! Some of Caspar's frames has just a bit more malice compared to Cassandra's. That dark shadow over his eyes when they are open, the fact his eyes are red instead of Cassandra's pink, and THAT FRAME WITH HIS ARMS CROSSED AND THAT EVIL SMILE! I know the original's tonal discontinuity is intentional and artistic and stuff but GOSH those things give him just that small visual tint of evil that I feel adds to the experience.
