Hello everyone. I've seen all your questions, so I'm going to make another video explaining in detail how you should go about the measurements. But, before then. Here is a general answer that I believe will help cover all the questions everyone is asking regarding measurements. When drafting, on the lining, you'll use the persons actual hip measurements. For Eg, hip 40÷4=10 plus the number of allowances you usually add for side allowance. When inserting the final measurements on the lining, it will now be hip divided by 2. Eg, hip 40÷2= 20. Now, For the actual fabric, the extra measurement you'll add to accommodate your hip pad depends on the size of the foam you used. Let's say you're using a 1 inch foam. Remember, we had 4 pieces of cut-out hip pad shaped foam. Two for the front and two at the back. (One small and one big for each hip side) This means that you'll add 4 inches to your hip measurements minus 1. Eg, hip 40+4=44 -1 =43. So 43 will be your new hip measurement. So while drafting, it would be hip 43÷ 4=10.75 plus your side allowance of cause. When inserting the measurement on your actual fabric while shaping/closing the outfit, it will now be hip ÷ 2. Eg, hip 43÷2=21.5. 21.5 is what you'll insert to close the hip area with. I hope this answers everyone's question. Thank you so much for watching and engaging, I appreciate it, and I love you guys ❤
You the best .. please the linen will be cut the actual hip measurement while the fabric will be cut will actually hips measurement plus 3 to 4 inch if I’m using half inch foam width ?
Yes, it would, but only for a while. It's best to use both foam and fibre like in the video or use just the foam if you don't want it looking too big. Fibre alone has a possibility of squeezing inside the outfit as time goes on.

And after add the fibre to the foam like how many inches more should I add to the actual hips measurement?
Please see pinned post. I've answered the question.
@@luchizmirianoproudseamstress thanks I have read .. so the fiber won’t add extra inches.. well I will be trying it out .. thanks a lot
If I use fibre for both layers will it come out well?
Yes, it would, but only for a while.
